The PS3 version has extra content, yet the minor graphical differences that are not even noticeable to the human eye is the thing that should sway people towards the 360 version? That doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Ok it's sharper on xbox,but i really can't stand and don't say anything about shadows,and what hurts me the most is missing objects and less grass on the field.
I really don't understand why rockstar didn't make ps3 game same as xbox,why did they leave ps3 version behind :///

While the game is super fun, I am definetly getting sick of playing inferior versions of multi-plat games. For a system that is supposedly technically impressive, its ridiculous that multi plat games are always so much better on 360. Guess I know what system I'm getting next gen

Geeze you would think working ur devs like slaves you'd accomplish something. It's 2010 and you still can't produce quality products for the PS3 brand? That's really sad.

I respect this site, but they overrated the game...Its a great game...but with all its graphically miscues (on both platforms) and worse on the PS3 platform, they overscored the game.

Rockstar is really looking inept for releasing such a diff in the versions... Makes me and others wonder how are they going to make Agent look good

Heard it before, hearing it now and will probably in the future. The only thing I regret is I did not expect this from R*. I mean they are one of the best developers in the world. Anyway I still can't seem to grasp how much longer this would last and I'm still getting the PS3 version, should get my copy tomorrow.

I have the 360 version and i can tell you it looks nothing like that in the comparison pics.

It looks way better and i would even bet the PS3 version looks pretty much the same. Going to buy PS3 version just to support Rockstar for making a good game.

PS3 owners should have paid $10 less for this game, but then again we got exclusive content. R* dropped the ball big time when they ported this game from 360 to PS3, the 360 was clearly the lead consol when R* was developing this game.
I must say that after seeing all the glitches and low res, I'm very disoppointed in this game, but through hype and lieing ass reviewers this game will be hailed as the next best thing when it's not. How could anyone doubth the PS3 after GOW3 and Uncharted 2?

This game is too good for anybody to miss. People who say it's like GTA IV(which I didn't even finish) are morons. It's the best open world game ever made. Pure art. No words for it. You need to enjoy it for yourselves to understand.

Ahh, the old multiplat dilema. People with only one system are going to buy the game for their system....so no point in obsessing when a mutliplat looks better on another system. Just enjoy the game if it is cool, and don't trip on the differences.

Anybody crying like a little baby about this issue needs to check themselves. If you have the ps3 version, how donyoubppan know it's missing anything? Are you playing it right next to a screen with the 360 version showing the identical scene you are moving through? What a bunch of spoiled, no account, superflous brats you all are. What? You're mad about a missing bush? A misplaced blade of grass? Or are you mad at the exclusive content that you got or the exclusive outfit with the enhanced abilities for the dead-eye? There is virtually NO difference between them. Either you are trolling for the 360 pretending to be upset or you are a weak minded ps3 owner, so easily mislead into believing something that, really, you have no practical way of proving.

The game looks great on ps3 and 360. End of debate. There is not a huge chasm of difference between them. Go with your console of choice and play the game instead of showing everyone just how immature you really are by whining like a Nancy for all to witness.

I play my games usually 7 feet away form my tv and i dont pause and zoom every 30 sec, so for me this game should run perfect on my ps3

Well I have the PS3 version pre-ordered (not out until tomorrow here in the UK) and looking at these screens there is only one thing that bothers me... it's kinda pathetic though heh. What bothers me is that there's less grass... I know, I can't really figure it out either, I just think it doesn't look quite right. Regardless I'm sure I really won't care in the slightest when playing it. The reason I went for the PS3 version is simple, nobody on my 360 friendlist is getting it. My cousin and quite a few friends of mine that are PS3 only owners are getting the PS3 version too so that is why I went for the PS3. If I didn't know anyone on either console getting it I would have straight up gone for the 360 version though because it obviously IS superior, even if not by that big a margin.

Off topic: I just wanna congratulate all of the fanboys here regardless of which side of the fence they're on for managing to put up with all the endless bickering and general BS you throw at each other on here. I, for one, would have got very tired of it a long time ago if I were among you people. Hell, I'm beginning to get tired of reading the comment section at all... can we not just... like... ya know.... stop? Maybe.

What is it the PS3 Fan-trolls keep saying? The 360 is holding the Ps3 back? I think the reverse is true. Here it is 2010 and one of the biggest and best names in video games makes and awesome game for both the 360 and Ps3 but still the 360 version is superior!

This game has an awful lot of glitches. Bad guys getting stuck in walls, artifacting, ropes floating and following the character. At certain points it almost appeared to look like a game when your PS3 fat overheats with the artifacts.

This game is getting ridiculously too high scores. I give it a 8.5/9

I even found riding the horse in Assasins Creed 1 more enjoyable than riding horse in RDR.

The point of fact here is, the PS3 will ultimately have less graphical content than the X360, and remember both versions are **sold for the same** price BUT if you choose to buy the PS3 version you will get a substandard product while paying the price of a full product!
This is extremely disappointing and R* should be ashamed of their clearly inefficient QA and lazy development teams.
There I said it, so what? I am only stating a fact here, and the fact is that R* was lazy, yet they are audacious enough to charge us full price for a mediocre and broken PS3 port.
I do recognize that they are amazing developers, but after this mess, I have lost my faith in them.

i think these look different because ones being played with crappy tv settings.im sure the game looks the same,i have it for ps3 and it def look more colorful than those bland shots.

I love my ps3, bought it just for GT5. And yes we did get the inferior version, guess what after seeing these screens i was pissed, but then i played for eight hours straight and loved the game. You quickly forget about the comparisons and remember that you have bluray, free wifi, free online, reliability, exchangeable harddrive, and exclusives like GT5 and last guardian down the road. So just enjoy it and go hunting bears at night (awesome).

So many sites now confirmed the inferor PS3 version but the fanboys still search for excuses.
