GTA 5 imo will be utter rubbish if it's a multiplatform game or if its not optimized using the SPUs on the ps3. gta 4 was rubbish like a lot of multiplatform games. multiplatform games either falls into a mediocre zone or a rubbish zone but there are a few good multiplatform games which is rare.

been enjoying gta since the 3rd one for the ps2, they have all been great imo, but my favorite was easily san andreas. Just beat the ballad of gay tony and it was awesome, alot of ppl complained about gta 4 and say its repetitive, but all games are at least a little repetitive. It felt like I was always doing something differt in gta 4, it had a good story and amazing graphics

i like that persons idea on the comments about a dog unit coming to hunt you down. i always defended gta 4 but ive begun to realise they really missed the chance to make it amazing.

Despite a load of people saying that GTA IV was overhyped, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and GTA V would be a day one purchase.

I love their passion for making groundbreaking games...roughly 500 people contributed to RDR over the last 5 years! Rockstar makes the games that are worth my time and money...after RDR, can't wait for L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3, Bully 2, Agent and....of course, GTA V! :)

Why do people think the next game is GTA V???
There will be a bunch of spin-offs before we ever see a true GTA V.

I wish the next GTA would be a PS3 exclusive but I honestly doubt it. With Agent being exclusive to PS3, I can't see Rockstar doing the same thing with GTA V. Anyway, the issues mentioned in this article certainly should be addressed but it is easier said than done. If the game was exclusive to PS3, I would be optimistic about these issues being solved due to larger disc capacity, unless the game is split between two discs on the 360 which is unlikely. For policing to be improved, some kind of stealth system would have to be put in place and that would be quite complex to do. One thing they can do is improve the a.i of the police so to make it difficult to escape from a single pursuer.

I would like if they got rid of auto-aim altogether and at least get rid of it in multiplayer. The cover needs to be more fluid also like Gears or Uncharted. Going first person might not be a bad idea either but this is also unlikely. The car handling needs to be improved and the a.i in races requires huge enhancement. The races in GTA IV were a joke. I would like if they had some kind of co-op integration with single player. So if you completed a co-op mission online, the proceeds could go to the single player character. This money could be used to buy guns, safe houses, bodyguards and cars. That brings me to the next suggestion. There should be a lot more things to buy in GTA V than IV. There should be safe houses, gun upgrades, cars and car upgrades available for purchase. The customisation from San Andreas should be brought back, at least to some extent and planes should be flyable. The maximum amount of people allowed in online races should be decreased to reduce lag. The current health system should be scrapped and replaced with a system where health regenerates. A matchmaking system for multiplayer might also be a good idea. Anyway, they're some of the things I feel would make the next GTA a lot better relative to past games in the series.

I really hope GTAV is exclusive to the PS3, so we'll be able to see GTA to it's max potential.

I'm pretty amazed that they were able to pull GTA4 on the 360 without multiple discs but to think of it again, there isn't much to do out of the main missions which previous games had tons of.

It will without a doubt be an awesome game. When and where they announce it is probably sooner rather than later. However, will they have any actual footage or just a generic announcement? We should know soon.

If Microsoft would just allow dev's to require a hard drive multiplats would be much better in my opinion. Until they do most likely will be some limitations on all multiplats. ID and RockStar have both said this that should tell you something.

MS needs to come up with some form of extra storage capacity, because nearly every multiplat I play, I come away disappointed. While the PS3 exclusives leave me blown away.

God of War did Blow me Away but what else do you have ? that's what it come's down to.All the other games are ok at best.Uncharted would Bore me to Tears and so would Heavy Rain.My Games are like FEAR2 ,GEAR2 ,Alen Wake and such.Games i don't like Tomb Raider just bore's me to death.But God of War is the Sh@#. GTA was a little boring also

because MS decided not to make HD standard on their system this gen like a bunch of morons, then they need to force MS installs, one disc to install content the other to play on, problem solved 7GB installs for xbox

GTA4 was a really bad game so much was missing, damn you DVD9!
GTA San Andreas is still the best GTA game, the things you can do in it is crazy.
The features list is very big compared to GTA4 (downgrade GTA)
The next GTA is a rent for me first.

maybe rockstar should just not make this game come to the PS3 at all probably will look way better on 360 anyways with it's superior GPU heck at least GTA4 wasn't sub par HD on 360

I agree it should be PS3 exclusive. For gta5 tons of buildings should be accessable. So we can break into houses/business. The only major thing that bugs me is the jaggies. God R* its called anti alaising, LOOK IT UP!!!. Also having to hold A to run is so stupid. Make it so we walk when holding A. I have the gta4 on 360 with both expansions i still think its an amazing game. The city is so alive. Im also one of the people who enjoyed the extra realism in the 4th gta. Being pulled over for minor crimes (running red light) sounds awesome to me.

Yes Elder Scrolls did fit on to one disc (Not counting GOTY) but how many problems and glitchs does that game have? Most likely over 100.

Keep in mind Microsoft only uses 6.8GB of their DVD9, why only that much? 2.2GB is use for keeping the disc save/copyright. So 360's DVD9 is pretty bad an most games have to be compress to even fit on to one disc.

Exclusive for PS3

Houser Brothers always wanted to me an Exclusive GTA with

the capacity if a Blu-ray, so they can go beyond GTA:SA

that it takes itself too seriously.

it didn't take any risks, and for a GTA game, you HAVE to.

also the lack of:

-country side/open space
-planes
-easily accessible tall locations (like a really tall heli pad or a huge mountain top)
-wonky steep roads
-weapon diversity
-tanks
-gang zones
-vehicle diversity

now although you may not agree with all of these (some people disliked the turfs in SA, or tanks)

but in general, most of those elements are what added that over the top fun factor to both VC and SA, and why I had more "crazy" fun with them.
for example vehicle diversity...where's the monster truck? the derby cars and derby races? where's the dildo weapon and the MASSIVE passenger plane?
to me all those omissions felt present and THAT is why GTAIV felt inferior imo

i hope R* goes all out with GTAV and add everything and more!
i've love to see:

crazy missions like the SA mission where you have to bike into the back of a military carrier
monster truck, dirt bike, derby and maybe even plane races (ala red bull air race stuff )

WAY more weapons...nothing stupid like lazer guns, but include more melee weapons like a katana and a shovel, also weapons such as semi-automatic machine pistols, harpoons and even silenced weapons

varying environments like snow or even just dirt and natural areas where the driving experience will change
and finally, less phone calls...
those are my 2 cents

It would be an awesome time for another GTA. Hopefully more info to come.

I would wanted to see GTA V be a PS3 exclusive. See if the game would change must with all that storage space or the lack of memory would prevent it for doing much on the game.

I know that.PC gaming is going down.

GTA4 sold too much on the Xbox 360 for GTA5 to be exclusive to PS3 so gamers should expect another gimped GTA.

But I am willing to bet that the inferior version of GTA5 will be the Xbox 360 version. It will turn out like FF XIII. Rockstar will try to build the game to take advantage of the PS3 and then shoehorn the game onto the weaker 360 resulting in a scenario similar to FF XIII.
