I threw both my controls play Gears 2 and I was so tempted to break something while playing MW2 so i ended smashing the case.

Lost Planet 2 isn't breaking my controller, but it's certainly breaking my thumbs. Every time you want to get a checkpoint you have to press O like 50 times...

i remember mario party, there was tug o war minigame you had to rotate the analog stick really fast. wrecked my controller and my palms.

as did The Lost World: Jurassic Park on the PlayStation 1. i STILL own that game. i actually DID try and break the disc by throwing it into a wall at my sister's place, but it just bounced off like rubber! i think the developers made a special CD JUST so people couldn't break it. that game was so poorly designed in EVERY category it was pathetic. the best part of the game was playing as the Raptor and Julianne Moore's character Sarah Harding, with her cool grappling hook, but GETTING to those parts was a chore.

you had to play as the Procomsagnathus, THEN the human hunter, and both were simply AWFUL. the fact that, even with eight direction control, you couldn't hit enemies at your feet was maddening, especially because there was this one enemy that was so fast he could dart through your shots, and nip at your feet until you died.

playing as the T-Rex was pretty cool, except for the fact that he was as weak as an infant. a few shots to the face, and the T-Rex went down. fighting other dinosaurs wasn't as cool as it SHOULD have been, because the combat was really just bite and bite harder.

i never would have bought it if it wasn't for my intense love of dinosaurs and Jurassic Park. i'd like to find each and every person who created that game and punch them in the nuts.

game there was a level where you had to break apart the sentinel im talking about the chest plate before the sentinel blasts you. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh anyone who played that would know what im talking about

call of duty... when u get killed 4 times in a row by that same guy with commando and lightweight....epic frustration.

Anyone who breaks the pedal simply does not inderstand how to use it. You do not apply force to the center of the pedal. Simple, no? Use it like you would a normal kick pedal. Simple, no? See that orange bar? Pressure goes there. Simple, no?

MW2 caused me to break the disk, the case, and my controller.

I personally didnt play it much. But some of my friends flew thru controllers w/ that game. It DESTROYS the R stick.

Skate wore out my analog sticks, so i had to buy a new controller

I havent had to replace too many controllers but I play WoW and other PC games enough that I go through a lot of keyboards because I rub off the ASDW keys and a few others.

Ok seriously who expects their controllers to last forever.If anything it shows your a true gamer.Maybe people should stop crying about their controllers get a new and get back in the game.JEEZ!!!

just use broke 3 of my PS2 controllers. Timesplitters 2 parties were the shit. To be honest though they lasted hundreds of hours of R1 hammering and when they broke I simply opened them up and glued the plastic tab back in place.

Still work today, that is until I sort out a TS2 and Nba Street game night, then they'll break.

NBA street, my mate hates me bouncing the ball off his head then the backboard in an over arching pass resulting in forcing the ball through the net in a downward direction.

Man, I've broken the left analog stick on my ps3 controller sprinting constantly forward in call of duty. Now it just leans forward and its almost impossible to stay still when doing nothing.. Aiming is also a bitch now.

The first Stuntman was the worst for me. I actually threw the controller in rage at that game.

The old Decathlon/ Hyper Sports/ Hyper Olympics were really bad on joysticks and keyboards, back in the day. Having to waggle joysticks or press keys as fast as possible.
Nowadays, probably button mashers are the worst for breaking controllers. Also getting mad at a game and throwing controllers can't be good for them.

I guess your least likely to break stuff when you paid for it not mommy. I don't break my stuff no matter how mad I get.

I broke my ps2 over Midnight Club Dub. Some of them fvcking races would piss me off!

Once they got off the streets and went to hell is was GG. If they just polished the games more and gave them SOME seriousness, they could have been sick. Falling through the floor, walking in the sky, and punching people and them flying into the aether could only happen so many times. Only games with more glitches is ANYTHING from Bethesda.

Thats fine. Its a lot better off that way otherwise we get disappointments like SR reboot and idk the many other constant sequels that were unnecessary.

This is what happens when no clue CEOs put market researchers in control over people who actually make games. Same with movies and music, they sterilise everything to chase the maximum appeal and end up boring everyone.

The last release was…. Not good. Felt like a game directed by marketing analytics.
