E3 is all about winning.

I was under the impression that it was just to show off games. I don't think you can really "win" an E3... seeing as its just an event.

Unless of course they have someone announce a winner every year that I have been missing.

E3 is not a competition, but if I had to choose the best presentations these past few years then it would have to be Sony.

However, Microsoft always offer great presentations.

Everything is a competition. Hence, the reason games like "Battle-shits" were created.

The only way they can win against sony is to announce that they have figured out how to buy off 1st party games from Sony. I dont think we will see anything surprising from them. I predict some natal and some Reach and some Gears 3 but we really already know those exist. Sony has many surprises that ensure they will win E3.

No one loses E3 but fanboys who have inferiority complexes.

I mean, yes, the last would be an E3 win, but it wouldn't be a gaming win. Not when the 360 yet to really prove anything honestly new can be done on it.

From Microsoft I would like to see...

Xbox360 "slim" with price drop.
New IP from Rare and Lionhead.
PGR from Turn 10.
More Xbox live features for both silver and gold members
And some new info on Fable 3 and Halo Reach single player.

The only way Microsoft can win E3 is if they are the only one there.

Nothing they will show will lite a candle to Sony Lineup. They openly admitted their best game for this year will be Halo and next year is Gears so nothing will be better than those 2 games for the next 2 years and they dont have any studios to develop new IPs so they will probably run Natal into the ground which will just fail instantly. MS is out of tricks nothing more to "steal".

Also at the people saying E3 isnt a competition, E3 is nothing but a competition a competition. A competition for developers and companies to show their best stuff and what they been working on and win over the consumers (us gamers).

Sony's going to have a great E3 as well as Nintendo and Microsoft.

I don't think anybody here has anything to worry about.

A new killer IP for the Xbox 360 would be marvelous, along with some other 1st Party goodies, and Gears and Reach info. That and a New Xbox Lite (Slimmer/Sleeker Form Factor).

Anything else would like icing on the cake!

But yeah, I do believe that something big is brewing on MS camp, as they've got ABSOLUTE lockdown on both Natal stuff and Xbox 360 stuff.

I really hope they blow us away this year. It's a great time to be a gamer gents.

I agree wit some points however I don't think a slimmer xbox is going to win E3... But a rare game and just some new IP's will definitley be good for te xbox camp at E3... I feel E3 2O10 will most definitley be the best..

However, those things listed could help MS out. I think all either company has to do is not focus on motion controls and E3 was a success.

E3 will be fun and funny for all, I can't wait for the gifs and photoshops to come about, last year was comedy gold!!! From the Natal gif to the Gran Turismo translator guy to the Giant Bomb Nintendo & Never ordeal, E3 may as well be at the Apollo.

All the big three will have great conferences, all have different point of views and different tastes so each conference will have their high and lows but in the end the winner will be the gamers…

Last 3 years they have over promised and underwhelmed unless you are a xbot...then u saw the best e3s or all time last 3 years....

Exclusives are overated this gen its been multiplat all the way ps3 owners go on about all the aaa boredom they have i played most of them and meh warhawks fun as for lbp uncharted wake me when its over battlestations pacific now thats my kind of joy ms will surprise sony may also i might use this ps3 one day 360 and pc has my vote.

But I will say, Versus will not come to the 360. Why? Couple reasons.

1. Nomura is a secret Sony fanboy, most of his work goes on PS or PSP. Its highly unlikely he'll let his project have limitations.

2. I'm pretty sure SE doesn't want to hear the fans again. Should SE f*ck up this final fantasy title, its basically done for them.

3. According to Nomura this game will have most of the game elements the others had, back tracking, air ships, world maps etc. If back tracking is in, switching disc will get annoying.

Other than that, I could care less. Just bring me games. Move, maybe natal, PSN premium, and let's all gamers everywhere rejoice!.....btw has anybpdy notice that OnLive launches next month and we're hearing jack sh*t about it? XD FAIL!

Announce the xbox 720

ive noticed a lot of people say xbl is better because its a paid service, money does not always mean quality - it only means quality in a genuinely fair service, xbl is not, what does xbl have that psn doesnt? cross-game chat? that doesnt exactly justify $50, Ive notied PSN is actually a more stable service, i have rarely heard of even the slightest downtime outside of the first day when the devs horrifically underestimate the sales, but that happens on xbl too, in fact, ive heard of more problemson xbl than on psn. microsoft cant even make software in something they have the monopoly in, how are they going to compete in a very high end market with such a lack of experience in the gaming industry, they put all their cards on a couple titles and hope for the best, the skimp out on quality control, this is microsofts second modern console, its time to shape up

and just so you guys see what i mean about xbl being unfairly priced, do the math, XBL gold users x $50 a year = metric buttload of money, so much money that no amount of servers can cost THAT much

Guys some of us dont have 2 consoles so i couldnt care less about ps3 exclusives or PSN or w/e i just dont care, i just want to see what is coming out for the console i own wich is the one I like.

Also i would like to point out that the "ps3 may win e3" article has no 360 fanboys on it and this is full with ps3 fanboys.

The amount of trolling in this thread tells me that fanboys of a particular camp are really nervous of what MS might show.

This years E3 is going to be like a heavyweight prize fight, but it dosent matter who wins because All gamers are the winners...
