With E3 closing in on just a little over a month, rumors and speculation of what is to transpire at Nintendo’s conference have started running rampant through the internet. Nintendo is looking to have a big show this year — with the new Legend of Zelda, 3DS, and Pikmin 3 all confirmed to make an appearance — but what does Nintendo have up its sleeve?
The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

I enjoyed both Rush games, I did think the action was sometimes too fast to see what was coming up in terms of hazards though, which meant replaying the same stage a bunch of times, other than that they were enjoyable, good special stages, 3D sections and bosses for the most part.
DS is one of the best consoles of all time. Such a rich library of software
Zelda were all glorious on it.
Even with the killer reveal lineup they most likely have this year it is almost assured that everyone will continue to pretend they showed nothing and will refuse to admit it even if they do "win" E3.
It's that mentality that is pushing the WHOLE INDUSTRY into casual territory. Expect wiisports knockoffs for all three consoles after this year.
The thought of Retro Studios debuting a new game makes me all giddy. Can't wait to see the new Zelda and the 3DS. I wish they announce a special limited edition package for Metroid: Other M. Anyways, looks good. :)
3DS is more than enough IMO
That guy is a moron. He doesnt even know that golden sun is coming out for the ds. Gamestop is taking november preorders for it.
They will re launch the Virtual Boy, only this time it will be a masssive 3 colors instead of 2..........Bring IT.......
