E3 2007: Jenga gameplay video

A Jenga videogame doesn't sound that interesting, but Atari is developing a Jenga game for the Nintendo Wii & DS. Check out the video.

seems like it would be perfectly suited for the Wii-mote. It would be hec of a lot of fun as a party game.

and now ladies and gentlemen take a look at this

http://www.n4g.com/industry...

see how he changed his also

He called me desperate, truly said and pathetic yet look at
what he was doing himself. Don't let him fool you he is
the biggest anti Sony person on this site just look at his old
comments all his submitted stories and all the sony hating articles
he posts that end up in the failed section. Here's a funny one
he tried to post

http://www.n4g.com/xbox360/...

if you notice those screen shots they say press L2 on one of them
which clearly lets you know they are PS3 shots taken from the PS3
of IGN.

just no, what a waste of time

ChickeyCantor6885d ago

isnt every game just to " waste" time?
( and of course have some fun and its no doubts some will have fun with this)

techie6885d ago

No because you can buy the real thing for peanuts...and enjoy it more. Really the whole fun of this game is pulling the blocks out and then having them fall on you....this just doesnt translate to a videogame.

ChickeyCantor6885d ago

But thats you, there are people who will like this.

ITR6885d ago

Yeah, but it's a hassle to put the tower back together again after 1 play.

I really dig the sndtrk.

why would I want to play this on a console when i can play the real thing.(which isn't great anyway)

ChickeyCantor6885d ago

Because maybe they have added some unrealistic modes?
which couldn't be done in real life?
Heil 1 and 0's.

ad4mb6885d ago

Ye but who buys a console to play jenga.

ChickeyCantor6885d ago

SO jenga is the only game to buy for the Wii?
...because you are saying that people will only get a Wii just for jenga.

ad4mb6885d ago (Edited 6885d ago )

No im saying why would you get a console and then buy a game like jenga when you could buy the real thing and probably have more fun with it.

ITR6885d ago

Why would people buy those 3-4 in one games of board games for GBA? But they do everyday at Target and Wal-Mart.

Hell I bought the Battleship one.

The Most Craptacular Nintendo Wii Exclusives Ever Released

Article: "This generation of hardware has seen some of the best exclusives in recent memory. The Nintendo Wii is no different from the other two major consoles we’ve covered on this topic. The Wii has a very respectable lineup of terrific exclusives, but there’s just no way to deny the piles of bad games that have blemished the image of the little white innovative platform. With the introduction of motion-controlling to the mainstream came a tidal wave of bad shovelware. We all know the names of the great exclusives like Zelda, Mario and Metroid, but what about all those horrible games that end up in the hands of innocent and naïve gamers?"

Any list of bad Wii games must be about 30 pages long.

darthv725518d ago

Wouldnt any game that comes across as bad to one person have the potential to be entertaining to another? People have different perspectives on things. It isnt like these devs are setting out to make a crappy game.

Games are bad for many reasons. You dont like how it looks or plays. You cant get the difficulty. There is no story to get into. The game is better played with friends and you dont have any. Or you just suck at playing it.

Worthplaying: Jenga: World Tour Review

There is absolutely no reason to purchase Jenga World Tour over a copy of the physical game. The latter is cheaper, less painful on your eyes, and significantly more fun. The few changes that Jenga World Tour make to the overall formula are effectively pointless and in a few cases, serve to make the game overall less, not more, enjoyable.

Even the fact that Jenga World Tour is portable does little to justify purchasing a copy, as trying to play Jenga on the go isn't remotely enjoyable. If you've really got the hankering to play Jenga, get some friends together, pick up the $10 physical game, and leave Jenga World Tour on the shelf.
