Crash land on a jungle planet filled with the most dangerous creatures known to man.

After releasing remasters of all three original Turok games, starting with the first two games in 2021 and then Turok 3 in 2023, Nightdive Studios has quietly updated the first Turok game with a native PS5 update.
Beyond the bug fixes and general cleaning-up that comes with most patches these days, the big thing about the PS5 version for the original Turok is that if you have a TV that can support it, you’ll be able to play Turok at 120FPS now.

The Turok series has been languishing without a new title for more than a decade. It's about time we got a reboot.
I'm all for it, I loved the originals... I just don't think, just like w the original Prey, that the main character can survive in this current political climate. Native characters seem untouchable at the moment. I think it can be shown the right respect, but there's always someone getting upset about something these days, they would find a way to cancel it.
Honestly, I would prefer if they just ported/remastered Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion to modern platforms. So we could have access to the "original 3 games". Because I don't see how to really reboot Turok. It's a product of its time being a mixture of platforming/fps and puzzle.
And I really don't see all those elements being preserved on a Reboot.
I would prefer Dino Crisis remake from Capcom. Still, a remade Turok would get my attention.
Forgets about the 2008 reboot*
I'd rather have a sequel to Turok 3, tbh.
We unfortunately do not have enough quality dino games. Theres Horizon but they're robots, and Monster Hunter that I can only think of. I'd like to see Turok make a comeback some day.
is looking pretty good. I was a fan of the originals. I always thought it was interesting bc of the prehistoric settings.
Not to mention it has one of the coolest weapons ever in a FPS...the cerebral bore.
I still kinda miss the fantasy feel of old Turok games but this one looks and plays cool. Not a bad trailer.
hope they have the arsenal of weapons that would be so frikin sweet
I will always remember the interesting atmosphere of the original Turok, and even in the second one (with the RAM expansion pak!) and the backstory that outlines your spiritual mission. Hopefully this one wont be completely like "just another war-game, but with dinosaurs." At first I wasn't very impressed by the gameplay, but now, in its latest build, I'd have to say they might be up to something over there.
I coudn't see the game properly it was very dark in the trailer. I hope they make the Dinos as cool as they were in Trespasser but with next gen makeover.
