If i played it i wouldnt beat it more then once i cant ever recall me beating a game more then once and not including fighting games.

oh thought it had multible endings but still story still about 16 hours aprentley according that review last week.

Don't all games require more than one play through for 100% completion?

A game allowing for more than one playthrough ("requiring" is a misplaced word in this case) doesn't make up for being short.

This kind of "play more than once to unlock everything" is just a timesinkish feature that should be frowned upon, as it's just a way for developers to artificially lenghten the gameplay without actually putting in much effort.

I much rather prefer games like those in the Yakuza series, that easily last 60-100 hours on the first playthrough and let you unlock everything in it. At the very least every minute of the playthrough is made of enjoying actual new content, instead of spending a sizeable amount of time replaying something that you already played.

Most games do for %100. Are we still talking about the length of AW? It sounds like it's 10-15 hours. What is wrong with that? Most SP games average that unless they are an RPG/MMO.

is it just me or are there quite a few articles going out of their way to justify this game when it isn't out and it looks like a great game already.

I just find it strange that many are defending a game that hasn't been released yet and by no means looks to be a failure. Just an observation.

if i like a game start to finish i tend to play it again regardless if i left anything behind or not..

so its a plus if the devs can make the game so that i would have to play it a second time as long as the stuff i missed are great things to have and again i have to like it from start to finish. great 2nd round grab would be finding a helicopter to use the spot light. worse thing is just for another stup!d outfit.. unless that outfit has light all over it..

Why waste money on a game where Alan Wake isn’t in it for a good part of the game. Also, since you don’t own the game and they can cut you off at anytime why would you buy that many. Unless she was going to resell them for a profit, charity give away, or something like that.
