
The Brisbane-based branch of games studio Krome has apparently cut its workforce by roughly 30 people overnight.
Krome, makers of Blade Kitten, Xbox Live Game Room, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Wii and other high-profile titles, is the latest Australian studio to face cuts in an increasingly difficult development climate in our region. With three studios under the Krome brand, it accounts for some 25 percent of games development in Australia.

FuRuy has opened a Twitter account called “Project Alice” teasing a new game announcement on April 25 at 20:30 JST.

New report from Skillsearch found that 22% of those surveyed had been laid off within the past 12 months.

It's a step forward for Stop Killing Games.
