Digital Spy writes: "Capcom's icy third-person shooter Lost Planet proved a hit when it arrived in 2007 for a compelling mix of heavy weaponry, mech-suits and bleak environments. Lost Planet 2's single-player story takes place ten years after the original game, as the blanket snow on the planet EDN III has thawed to reveal lush jungles and tropical areas. Players will once more join the human forces as they battle the Akrid insect race for control of the vital Thermal-ENerGy resource. Ahead of the game's release next month, Digital Spy caught some time with its multiplayer modes to see how the big thaw has affected the action."
