best game of the year, blows everything else out the water

danm I don't think I can wait that long.

but after that KZ shmorgasborg of death and destruction trailer I just can't bring myself to look at clean, crisp wars with a bunch of laser guns and red and blue lights. Mass Effect is the game that would push me to my 360 purchase for a true nex-gen experience, but my fetish for games noir prevents my exitement meter from going any higher at the moment, but that can change over time.

Right now though it's definitely PS3 and KZII first and Mass Effect and XBoX360 second for my holiday gaming needs. Once I throw in COD4 my life will be pretty much be completely pre-occupied with MUST PLAY games by that time so the outside world won't really matter anyway.

It was greatly overshadowed by KZ2.
Funny how people are calling this GOTY when there's a good chance MGS4 will be out this year. And Uncharted, HS etc are also out. GOTY Xbox 360 maybe, but that isn't saying much when PS3 is now the benchmark.

Well here's what I'm saying "tomorrow". MGS4 is still exclusive, MS had a pathetic E3, Killzone 2 singlehandedly owned everything in MS's conference, MGS4 trailer on PSN tomorrow, MGS4 never going to 360 if you took off the desperate goggles and checked the real facts.

I used to really look forward to this game, now i think i'll pass. I don't know why but something just doesn't entice me anymore.

Mass Effect will be the best game hands down this fall (with Uncharted a close second)

Before I start I would like to say I am a PS3 Fan, not a Fanboy, and I do not think Sony is god, and while I do not like microsoft I have nothing against the 360 it obviously is a decent syetem.

What I want to say is I have recently just been looking at Mass Effect and I nave to say the graphics looks good and the story sounds great but I still have not seen enough game play or heard about the controlls to say it is good for a hybrid RPG/Shooter. Nothing mind blowing about this game I am sure it will do great however not as good as Lost Odyssey ,Final Fantasy or even Kingdom Hearts, but I do hope I can get a 360 and play this game.

This is the best looking game I have ever seen. My sister thought it was a movie trailer.

If you didn't like this game, then you might as well get a ps3 and become and sony fangirl, cuz this game RULES!

Predator, @$$hat. We've waited and seen. Kojima once again announced it as exclusive. We waited for your MS conference. We waited for Sony's conference. YOU LOSE @$$hat. Accept it. MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive, and what's more, 360 won't even get MGS future titles, because there won't be any! HAHAHA!

Heavenly Sword is f***ing amazing. The TV special proved that. The combat system is totally unique - stances, super styles. The facial and character animations are MINDBLOWING! They're only matched by Killzone 2 and are at the top of their league. It's nothing like Dynasty Warriors, there's that massive battle with the army, but boy, that's just the start of the game - with the most impressive scenario I've ever seen in a video game, comparing it to DW is a crime.

Lair - on land gameplay looks boring. Thank god there's AMAZING airfights, where most of the game takes place - nothing bland and boring about that.

Uncharted - definitely a system seller. Crash (under ND) and Jak, also ND were system sellers, and this looks astounding. The above three games also provide the best graphics of any game ever on consoles so far (+Killzone 2).

I had someone try to tell me KZ2 will sell 250k units, and that Halo 3has more pre-orders than PS3s sold. WRONG! The pre-order thing is TOTALLY false, and KZ is a multiMILLION selling franchise, even in its weakest moment as KZ1. Now, it's the biggest upcoming shooter!

The above are ALL system sellers. Mass Effect too, just by less.

Their highest rated, best remembered, socially loved franchise... and they have small team working on it for the past 2- 3 years?

Absolute garbage company along side all the heads that made Andromeda.

Maybe Saudi Arabia make something out of this.

overall if they could get CDPR and quadratic dream to help them make the game that would give me hope for the game

Still riding off the coat tails of the original staff from Bioware that have long since moved on.
