Geon has been around for a while in a few variations including an Xbox Live Arcade version we reviewed back in 2007. In its latest edition, Geon HD for the iPad, we may have just stumbled on one of the most addicting dot gobblers since Pac-Man. With a visual influence that screams TRON, Geon HD consists of numerous grid-like playing fields full of dots and you must move your Geon cube around the "maze" collecting the dots and depositing them in the goals.

Strawdog Studios: These days, being an independent game developer is just as much about being a business man and fund raiser as it is about development and delivering risky and original products. One is infinitely more enjoyable than the other, but to be honest we often approached the securing of externals funding as a exciting challenge.
Before we could secure development funding we needed to secure a digital route to market and since we had an excellent relationship with Microsoft via our development of ‘Geon’ on XBLA, we decided to pitch them the idea whilst at GDC 2007.
