Though Oblivion was released only a few months ago on the PlayStation 3, Bethesda Softworks is ready to re-release The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the form of its Game of the Year Edition.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition will incorporate all of the content found in a number of its downloadable updates, including the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansion packs.
IGN : How does the new The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, released in 2025 for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam, and PS5, compare to the original 2006 Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion released on Xbox 360, played via Xbox Series X/S Backwards Compatibility?
With The Elder Scrolls 6 still far into the future fans have been taking matters into their own hands with projects like Skyblivion.
Skyblivion remakes Oblivion in Skyrim's engine, and the huge mod is nearing completion, but the team could use some assistance.
I love this game.
Yeah great game ^^
i recently have been playing it again and i am finding new stuff. The game is immersive as it is.
So lets see. Oblivion, if you want to search for everything and do everything. 75-100hrs. Lets say 85 hours.
Shivering hours expansion pack, if i heard correctly, it takes around 40 hours to beat 40hours
The nights of nine expansion i have heard like 2 to 5 hours.
With my estimations, thats around a 130 hours.
I will probably get this edition still though.
I've always wanted to play this game and I've been holding off on this game due to financial reasons. Now that this news has been announced, I'm glad things turned out the way it did.
I had to pay close to $100 dollars for Oblivion + Knights of Nine + Shivering Isles + Wizards Tower + all the other little d/l's. Hope the Game of the Year Edition costs more, so I don't feel so cheated. But then again I have already played and beaten everything and enjoyed it, and at the time I felt like I got my money's worth. O well, at least make it $70.00.
