I'm glad actually, if there were 22,000, it would have meant more than 10 motion pictures!

movements5893d ago

yeah, that was kinda long... Good to here

SpaceSquirrel5893d ago

I kind of disappointed. A longer script probably means a longer game.

mjolliffe5893d ago

I thought it was 30+ hours anyway :)

xXRight3yeXx5893d ago

22,000 was just a joke. That would be too big of an investment for something new.

sikbeta5893d ago (Edited 5893d ago )

An script of 22000 pages can make a Huge Game in every aspect, I mean no-1 will make something so long to end up being average or not so good, but as long as the Game is Great, there is no Problem...

Commander TK5893d ago

Everybody knows it will be a dissapointment since it was announced as a multiplat

iFLOWLIKEWATER5893d ago

Never did I hear or think it was 22,000 pages. But I did read the cover story in GI that said it was 2,200...

sinclaircrown5893d ago

Seriously? There are no good Multiplat games? Ever? PS2 had TONS of great games, even though DVD was the media for Sony back then.

It amazes me how people can judge something before ever giving it a try. It makes NO sense whatsoever. Just because a PS3 exclusive can use BluRay doesn't mean its going to be a good game.

Some fanboys need to take their heads out their asses for five minutes. Good games exist on every console out there. To count one out because its multiplat hurts nobody except you.

Looking forward to this game. Been in development so long they should produce something good, I hope.

yoshiroaka5893d ago

Maybe if they used a larger font it may take up more pages.
=P

badz1495893d ago

I know I didn't because it sounded ridiculous which makes this story not much of a surprise! - or nothing at all actually!

Valay5893d ago

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me since it's still long.

Nicaragua5893d ago

As long as its quality then the quantity is irrelevant

JD_Shadow5893d ago (Edited 5893d ago )

My question is that if this news changes anything about Rockstar's space problems with DVD9 for the 360 version (remember that they were saying something about that?). Thing is, that probably still exists despite this news.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

porkChop689d ago

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.

anast689d ago

I would have liked to see a new noir game.
