RespawnAction: "Metacritic. To some, it's the entire basis of their next purchase. To others, it is just a loose guideline, a light factor in deciding whether or not to wait for a price drop. It has impacted the gaming community as a whole so much in the past year or so, maybe even longer, where articles pop up constantly stating what game has what score. It is even ammo that powers the fanboy wars out there. But to the single gamer, how much does it impact you?"

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
Considering how lazy I think most "reviewers" are these days, MetaCritic doesn't mean a lot to me anymore.
That's not saying I don't use MetaCritic, but I am very cautious when reading reviews, as more and more of them seem like "previews" or 30 minute play sessions.
Not much at all
Me personally? Not at all. I think for myself and play what I want. But it saddens me to see other gamers using stupid scores as ammunition in these lameass console wars.
I don't buy games base on metacritic, i look at the genre when deciding on buying a game since reviewing is kinda crap this gen(tons of free passes everywhere).
I dont use it at all. I might check IGN or Gamespot for a quick read but I dont base games on scores, since what might be a good s core for me may be bad for u.
