
It's understandable if the wider audience hasn't heard through the grapevine that Metro 2033 is out, or if they weren't really paying any attention to it in the first place. 4A Games has kept its newborn child under wraps, and just a month or so ago, even footage of gameplay was scarce for such a high-profile title. Unfortunately, the game's release had also been wedged between monumental triple-A releases, including God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII and fellow shooter Bad Company 2. While all this equated to a less-than-speedy hype train for the game, there was still some (hype) steam left for nuclear enthusiasts to anticipate.
