Like I said, I am not a PS3 fanboy, and I can agree that the PS3/Sony has some major issues right now. But these MS immature fanboys are really getting to me and make me not want to get a 360 because I'm affraid that the kids online will be the same way. I know that can't be the case, but wow, you guys are getting ridulous. You keep coming into the PS3 forum to flame. Why? Why do you care what happens with PS3, Wii or any other game counsel you don't own?

They cancelled SmackDown VS Raw 2007 for PS3, but are postponing bring the SERIES to the console until holiday next year, which will be SVR '08.

I think the major deal is that Sony was way too late in getting final development kits out. Just like the 360, the PS3 takes time to get to know how to develop and to get it done right. I think it is a wise move to focus on quality rather than trying to rush it out to every system.

Although, I don't even know why they would even want to postpone it until 2007 hoilday season. By that time there will be much better games for each counsel and WWE will likely be long forgotten by all.

360 came out one year before the PS3. developers have had more time with it. it's as simple as that. otherwise THQ could've did a rush job, and came away with much the same effect as EA did with Madden 2006 at 360's launch, with its lackluster graphics and lost features.

Many companies are making games for the 360 and porting it to the ps3. Its easier that way. Few company's are willing to take the risk of developing only for the ps3. Ps3 will be the console that gets many Ports months to a year after we enjoy it on the 360. My oh my has the roles reversed this time around.

Sony needs to weed out average looking games? as if Prey, Gun, Rumble Roses, Chromehounds, Over-G Fighters, Dynasty Warriors 5, etc. were all the defacto-standard of next-gen quality games. in this case the argument can be made for Microsoft as well. with the exception of GRAW and Oblivion, there isn't much new on the system thats worth getting excited about. all 360 fanboys slam Sony fanboys for their liking of whats referred to as medicore, unoriginal games. thats pure hypocrisy, especially since 70% of 360's current library is comprised of current-gen games with next-gen graphics (Far Cry, Top Spin, Burnout Revenge, Tomb Raider Legends, Moto GP 06, FFXI, etc.). sure, future games look promising, such as Bioshock, Halo 3, GOW, Fable 2 and a few others: but it looks promising for Sony as well, with Assassins Creed (and contrary to all supposed evidence, its ONLY been announced for the PS3), Lair, MGS4, Naughty Dogs new project, Dark Sector etc.

They've just now shipped (not sold) 5 million units. This is July, 8 months after launch. There is less than 4 months until Sony launches. You think that they're going to sell over 5 million more units in 4 months? This game being cancelled doesn't mean anything to me, I could see why some would be alarmed at some games being cancelled in the last few weeks, but I don't think it's anything to be worried about. I would wager that there are many more games in the works now than what Sony has announced.

Btw I have been away so I couldn't possibly respond to every ignorant post you made since I left (I DO have a LIFE) but all the spec's you felt so inclinded to copy/paste are BS if you really want to PROVE something at least have a understanding about what you are talking about! (same thing goes for The Mart) If you really want to know the true power of the CELL and what it is capable of then you need to do the proer research. 360 IS a great Next-Gen console, but it doesn't hold a stick to the POWER of Cell AND RSX ALONG WITH A NEXT GEN MEDIA DRIVE (CELL RSX AND BLU RAY work together so you have to pair them and get the WHOLE PICTURE). No one but SONY knows the official specs of the custom RSX inside PS3 and they HAVE NOT released the specs yet. We ONLY know about what was shown to us at E3 05 and I think it's fair to say that alot has changed since then. You say the PS3 cost to much... that's fine but think about the lifespan the PS3 WILL HAVE, I promise you it will be much longer than 360 (just like the PS2 have/has a much longer lifespan than the original xbox).
