People should support widescreen primarily, imho.

Dorjan5904d ago

wowa, they didn't test that?

Fyzzu5904d ago

Getting really sick of the lack of widescreen support. I hate the non-support games get until launch. Why does it keep happening?

FantasyStar5904d ago (Edited 5904d ago )

Because we keep buying games at launch without thinking. If we just hold off on Day 1 Purchases, then lesser people have to deal with this problem. That'll also send a message stating that "we'd rather have a ideal product" than a "rushed one" for the sake of sales.

Having wrote that, I feel as if this was a "honest to God" mistake on 4Qs part in which, I hold no ill-will. EA on the other hand....

chak_5904d ago

who the hell is still playing 4/3 ...

tdrules5904d ago

console users, most console games aren't widescreen native, they're stretched

chak_5904d ago

that was a rethorical question, just to show how much they didn't give much a crap about PC version.

I mean they talked so much about PC being so good and graphically on top...couldn't they just see there was a problem onscreen? -_-

El_Colombiano5904d ago

tdrules

That's complete BS. Since WHEN is 1280x720 or 1920x1080 4:3? If you think they are go back and learn ratios.

Is it me, or does anyone else feel like they're going backwards in time?

It's 2010, we definitely shouldn't be seeing these problems. Bioshock 2 was another one not to support it correctly, what ever happened to testing your game before releasing? Talk about incompetence.

Metro Video Game Series: A Comprehensive History

The Metro video game series started with a humble b-list title, before building a strong fanbase and becoming a pioneer in the industry.

Never got into Exodus, but 2033 was excellent.

kevco33829d ago

Yeah, Exodus just didn't grab me either, sadly.

I absolutely loved 2033 and Last Light, however. Played them both on 360 and then again with the remasters!

anast829d ago

I just started it and it is already miles better than the first 2 which are dated.
