When we think of video games and video gamers we usually also think of the usual stereotypes that surround them, – obesity, social awkwardness and completely useless when it comes to members of the opposite sex.
Most modern day gamers don't waste their lives on games, instead they embrace the community. Surely anything that brings individuals together, to build communities where people can be appreciated for who they really are can't be as bad as the media makes it out to be. As a whole, the gaming community is united by one common interest – video games; and it's this interest which makes us stronger than ever.
