I don't really want either 360 or ps3 to fail, because them two competiting brought some of the best games imaginable

I can tell you first hand I am an IT Director for my Company, and we work a 1000 times harder because of the companies in competition with us, constantly in the meetings talking about they are selling this at this rate or that, they made this much last yr, they are coming out with this or that

I agree but what I do think developers need start doing is stop making multiplats basically the same. Lost planet got content cut becuase of 360 limitations Rockstar said themself They where struggling with dvd limitations while making gta 4. They need stop taking things away from ps3 games becuase it cant work on the 360.

now 360 produced some amzing AAA games and would hate if it got killed by ps3, love gears love fable and love halo games and all 360 exclusive i have got over years. what 360 fans need to except is that 360 is limited and if 360 sales droped and people lost interest and moved to ps3-pc all together i really seriously dont think this going happen. but if did it would be micrsoft fault, they rushed in to generation because they got there ass kicked last gen by sony they should of gone with hdd included and they should waited for hd dvd to finalised to include it. but do love all the consoles and the competion it has made.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
