Packaging this won't make any difference. Sony without a game is still a better value.

Also: Why package ODST in with it when you can only play single player?
Now if it was Halo 3 and ODST, that makes sense. That would be like Sony packaging GoWIII with a PS3. Actually that would make more sense seeing as GoW is a singleplayer game. What would be a badass bundle is GoWIII and the GoW Collection @299/350

LtSkittles5908d ago

Odst has firefight, co-op and the halo 3 maps

SlipperyMooseCakes5908d ago

What the hell are you rambling on about?

Tiberium5907d ago

What does a 360 bundled with exclusives have anything to do with the PS3 slim? This would be great timing considering the Reach beta is just around the corner.

Dark Collosis5907d ago

You obviously have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.. Halo ODST has a single player/firefight/coope/ and ALL the halo 3 multiplayer maps included in the game(even the $ to download ones)...... Once you own odst there is absolutely no reason to use the old Halo 3 game unless you want to play its single player campain..

EPIC FAILLLLLLLLLL....

BTW this is a good bundle. Maybe you should buy it so you can play those games so next time you spew out something at least you may not be so ignorant to it... Even funnier is the agrees you got for spewing ignorance.

Biggest5907d ago

Also good timing on their part because the new Xbox is being revealed at E3. Get a few more suckas before they drop the brand new console bomb. Of course I am joking.

hazardman5907d ago

Is this a Sony article?? We obviously know the value of PS3 considering the Blu Ray side of things... Anyway good bundle..considering the games. I mean every time MS puts a bundle out it usually has ok games..these are 2 good games.

HighDefinition5907d ago

For those who like/want those games.

With the 360 and the PS3 at such low prices there is no excuse not to own both, if your a fan of gaming.

sonarus5907d ago

Excellent bundle imo. Far better than the casual crap they try to push.

Dorwrath5907d ago (Edited 5907d ago )

What the hell are you on?

EPIC FAIL!!!

You haven't a clue. So eager to be first commenter your brain didn't engage before you started typing.

Solidus187-SCMilk5907d ago

But the main reason for the bundle is because of reach. They want new 360 users to play a halo game so they are looking forward to the next one. Also helps that ODST comes with a REACH beta so new owners may try it too.

FamilyGuy5907d ago (Edited 5907d ago )

M$ seems to be going all out with this bundle. Two critically acclaimed, console exclusives, 120Gb HDD, all at the same price as a Slim? They're shovin this thing down consumer throats with a deal like that.

The fanboy in me can't help but think of this sale as desperate, but at the same time I really can't think of a reason why they'd do this other feeling threatened into it. "Spring sale"? Do they do this every year?

This is ridiculous to me as all M$ needs in order to increase sales of the 360 is make the $200 model come with a 60Gb HDD.

They always say, "If you don't know what you're talking about, keep your mouth shut!"

You might want to try that sometimes.

Another month, another bundle. When will Microsoft realize that making several bundles won't get consumers to buy a piece of trash?

mcnablejr5907d ago

Too butthurt that i have a rubbish ps3?

rawd5907d ago

haha its getting personal now, bots armed with PM's

plb5907d ago

Lots of people buy xbox so not sure what you're getting at. Both systems have good games..it's silly to argue.

ninfan5907d ago

Agree with Tiberium. I think it's a great timing for this bundle

SuperStrokey11235907d ago

Its already instores here, not just for preorder

megax85907d ago

You are correct. The release date is March 9th not March 14th as was originally listed on Amazon website so this can be already ordered. I have added an update to clarify this.

Noob5907d ago

Far better than the Pure/Lego Batman bundle.

This collab proves that New Halo games coming to Playstation: CONFIRMED

The last pillar has fallen XD

Tedakin272d ago

I mean Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox in 2 weeks. It has a Playstation Studios logo on it. The first pillar has fallen.

lukasmain272d ago

LOL you think a live service game is a Playstation pillar? hahahahahaha

1Victor270d ago

The first pillar has fallen.
🤦🏿 Well the competitor’s house already got 2/3 pillars down and the 3rd one is rotted to the core about to fall any minute now bringing down the glass house of cards down FOREVER 🤣
THE WAR IS OVER DEAL WITH IT

Reaper22_270d ago

It doesnt matter. You can get playstation stuff on PC. That pillar fell a long time ago. And next gen it will continue to fall.

Tedakin272d ago (Edited 272d ago )

@lukasmain Their one successful live service game, and their most successful game in the last few years. Yeah I do.

lukasmain272d ago (Edited 272d ago )

It's not a pillar. Expect ALL live serviice games to come over. That includes that upcoming Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls as well at some point. But the PILLARS are the amazing single player games. The games they built their brand on. Helldivers LAUNCHED on PC. It's not a Playstation Pillar
