
Shoot 1Up is a very unique title indeed, after all it isn't very often you get to control up to 30 space crafts while flying over backgrounds that include anything from whales to half naked ladies. At its heart Shoot 1Up is a basic space shooter, you fly from left to right, up and down all while the screen scrolls vertically and enemies of all shapes and sizes come at you from all angles. The aim of the game is to destroy the enemies and collect as many as the 1Up pick ups as you can along the way.

Today sees the launch of the long awaited Shoot 1UP on Windows Phone 7 (WP7), bringing with it something of a rebranding for the device. This latest release brings the mobile Xbox LIVE service ever-closer to the Xbox brand, with new icons establishing the videogame as part and parcel of that gaming umbrella.

Though it’s relatively easy to make games and sell them via Xbox Live Indie Games and other venues, four developers reveal how difficult it is to actually earn a solid living off of them.
