Borderlands Getting More DLC!

Hidden in a dark, damp crevice of the Take-Two mega-mountain of news today was a brief, albeit interesting, comment from Ben Feder, president and CEO. After referencing the success of Gearbox's Borderlands, Feder stated that Take-Two "will continue to support the title with add-on content."

So, if you've finished The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot and The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, expect more soon. But, where will our intrepid foursome go next?

This game is a blast, to bad my file went bad an I got to start all over, but it doesn't bug me do to the fact that I got all the trophy's for this game on the PS3 (Not counting the newest add on).

Can't wait to see whats next and I hope we see more of the funny robots.

I really hope they bundle all the DLC cuz i have yet to buy any of them yet. So far its 30bucks worth of DLC and more on the way. SHould I wait for a bundle?

hakeem09965907d ago

i'm thinking the same thing both dragon age and this game have tons of DLC .i think ill wait for a special bundle

ramon_v5907d ago

i was just thinking about this today too, i'm playing through General Knoxx right now. (love it, by the way)

but just realized, that i've already spent almost $100 on this one game ($60+tax for game & 3 DLC packs @ $10 each)

not saying that as a bad thing necessarily, just surprised me when i thought about it, as it's a bit high really... yet i don't feel ripped off.

i have yet to beat the second and third dlc , however i praise this game i only wish that when they drop the next piece of dlc , they include a damn house
ive mustard up some sick ass weopons and would love to have a place to store them.

there is a bank in the Moxxi DLC that you can expand to up to 42 slots. It doesn't display them on a wall or anything but it is a nice thing especially with all the gear at the end of Knoxx.

Gamer7l5906d ago

I bought the 1st expansion bank ($10 million O_O ), and filled it up with some of my prized weapons.

Then, after completing Secret Armory....I was in dire need of another 40 slots. The payoff at the end of the game is insane....and then it gets even better afterwards (if you complete a certain mission) I can't wait to see what I get from defeating the "secret boss". :D

I finish all 3 add ons, the first and 3rd one were the only ones I like the most, the 2nd one was ok but the only thing that was really good about it, well was the chick that ran it.

I hope more of the add ons are as big or bigger then the 3rd one, I want to see a 2GB or 4GB add on for the PS3 (Be lower on 360) and why so big? Because it means their is going to be more to the add on if the file size isn't small.

just got this game a couple of days ago and it is freakin awesome. I haven't purchased any of the DLC yet though....I'm only level 7 on my first character (Roland). I need to go online to get help leveling up but I have a feeling me being the noob no one will share any loot with me.

ever since XIII came out I really loved the cell shaded artstyle in games. I probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't have such a style like that

Despite Borderlands Movie Flop, Series Saw Boost in Sales; Take-Two to Be Selective on Licensing IPs

Take-Two admits the Borderlands movie was disappointing, though it still contributed to the game catalog's sales.

-Foxtrot542d ago

"we don’t really need to break out the contribution from the film because while it was economically positive"

Come on, there was nothing positive about it, it literally bled money...not really economically.

Daeloki541d ago

No there was not. The same way there was no Dragon Ball live action movie, nor an Avatar the Last Airbender live action movie :)

Polish a turd to make a what?!

DefenderOfDoom2541d ago (Edited 541d ago )

So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
