Capcom?...Nintendo?...Demos?...OH MY

Nintendo Now writes, With Capcom's new marketing plan with Nintendo taking place next Tuesday (March 8th) with the Monster Hunter Tri demo, I think it's safe to say that Monster Hunter Tri is going to be as big as they say. This is the first time in the Wii's history that a developer is going to give the consumer a chance to try a game out for free through retail. My opinions about this free two-leveled demo are very positive.

make DMC5 a PS3 exclusive so it won't end up like DMC4.

how do you fix the fact that the wii has no hard drive and most are not online give them a disk based demo that media is way cheaper than blue rays hell my buisness card cost more than a DVD lol. Plus on waiting on downloads and no need to delete them. If a friend is curious give him the demo great idea huh? What's better than online friend real friends! This is going to be fun. I have to get to a game stop now and you know what kids your mom and dad can afford free so you better get moving. I bet nintendo gave them a discount on media also.

I got DMV on the pc and it blows the ps3 and xbox out of the water. The only thing wrong is the ps3 and the xbox.

What they need to do is make devil may cry 4 player co op on the wii with motion controls no one cares about open areas give us arcade multiplayer mayham. Also stop blowing your wad on hd gaming when they all are going to act like you should fix what is wrong with their system. Some one tell Sony to bring out those cell based pcs so we have some better ports. Ethier Sony needs to give up their code for ps3 or risk being the loosers of this gen.

Oh yeah powerstone on wiiware would be nice along with a real final fight in 2d.

i forgot how can i get my hands on a demo again?

Crazybone1265925d ago

You either sign up on Monster Hunter's official site and Capcom will send you one, or just go to your local Gamestop and ask for a demo...remember its FREE

qface645925d ago

wait wait i can seriously just go to gamestop and ask if they have any MH3 demos then just walk out with it

wow =D

Saaking5925d ago

Capcom is out of demos now. Your best bet to get one is gamestop.

Can't wait to get my hands on that Monster Hunter Tri demo! Glad to see a publisher go through these lengths to get the word out on their game.

Why the Wii is Such a Nostalgic System in 2026

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.

Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (1996) Still Feels Like Peak 90s Star Wars

This game along with Rogue Squadron got me into to Star Wars. The release of special edition VHS Star Wars collection was perfectly times on top of all that. 😆

Because it is.

Please re-release this.

SimpleSlave58d ago (Edited 58d ago )

But it wasn't. Although I do agree that some of the tie-in media, like the novels and comics, were pretty good.

Still, games like Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Rogue Squadron, and the space sims were peak 90s Star Wars. Shadows fell flat because of the abysmal controls and unimaginative levels. And if you wanted to really experience the seedy side of the universe, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 was peak, and it wasn't even close.

Regardless, and much to my dismay, we got the better version thanks to Ubislop in Outlaws, which is what Shadows should've been, albeit at a smaller scale.

As a kid me and my cousins loved this game . I have great memories with this one and the Star Wars pod racer game .
