As Ive said I CANNOT support the x360 NO MATTER WHAT GAMES IT GETS. I hate MS's way of doing things with the x360 in so many ways. I will not support the BS they stand for.

I loved the previous xbox but I HATE the x360. This is due to the appreciation I have for the industry. I've loved gaming since C64 and MSX and Wii and x360 are almost the only consoles I don't have. I haven't even touched the Wii and I'm smart enough to keep my hands off the x360. You got me once MS. This will never happen again. I won't buy anothr x360 NO matter what. If you won't change your ways I will NOT buy another console from you.

It seems to me people have no values if they don't understand why people hate the x360. That and MS with their policies with it.

i can understand how you feel. i to feel the same way. but with sony. i hate sony. if the ps3 wasn't brought for me for my Bday. i wouldn't have never got it. i refuse to support sony. if i do buy a game for the ps3. it's used or rented. because sony doesn't see a dime of that money. sony got enough money from me with the ps2 and the three times it broke down on me and they wanted $150. each time to fix it. i had no choice at the time because all my favorite games was only on the ps2. to me that was sony's way of telling me F--- you pay me. if you want to continue playing your favorite games.

i have never until the ps1/2 had a system die on me. not even my 360 has died yet. and i had it since launch. which is something the ps2 didn't do for me. at least i can say that if my 360 died from RRoD or disk error's. i would gladly buy another one or get it repaired. if my ps3 died. it would go in the trash. thats just how i feel about sony and their products.

I hope most people here know that fanboys and console wars are in the extreme minority. Most of the people I talk to on XBL, PSN or know in my personal life discuss games all the time without bias or arguing.

Actually we get a chuckle out of how serious some people carrying on about their favorite console or developers and publishers. One thing that is sad is how the gaming media fuels this nonsense.

I think they're disagreeing with you because you're choosing to go that route yet AGAIN with the 360. If the PS2 was THAT unreliable (and in a sense, the system did have its faults), and you hate Sony that much for it, and you acknowledge that the 360 has the same faults, then why the hell are you buying a system which is accused of having the exact same issues with it with the exact same warranty problems? They're disagreeing with you because they don't think you're making up some excuse as to why you don't like Sony that don't hold water because you're going from unreliable system to another unreliable system, expecting different results.

You're also being a hypocrite. You wouldn't pay Sony's fee but you would go buy a new 360 if your other 360 died? Isn't that MS's way of saying "F you", which is what you accused Sony of doing? And wouldn't buying a new 360 cost you MORE than you paying Sony's fee? You show vast inconsistencies with your reasons.

Not to mention you never told us HOW three of them broke down on you. I don't remember the PS2 being THAT unreliable. The hell were you trying to do to them?

i see you didn't understand my comment. so maybe i need to point out thing you missed in my statement k. first you missed the part where i said "i have never until the ps1/2 had a system die on me. not even my 360 has died yet". meaning my 360 since launch (going on 5 years) hasn't broke down on me yet. where as my ps2 died 4 months after i brought it and again 9 months after i had it repaired and again 6 months after the second repaird. in which i had to come out my pocket. so i sent $450 for the ps2. beause sny limited the release of the ps2. and store was price gauging anyone that didn't reserve the ps2. plus $150. each time it broke to get repaired. thats $750 in total i spent on the ps2. and thats not even money i spent on games. the only reason why i didn't have to pay for the third repair. is because sony lost the class action law suit.

my xbox still works to this day as well as my 360,gamecube,N64,ect. i haven't had a problem with any system i had except the ps1/2. the ps1 wasn't that bad. just you had to turn it upside down just to read disk or put something on the lid. i don't see where MS is saying "F" you pay us. because the repairs is free. i have a friend who's 360 died on him. when he paid to have the system repaired. MS sent him back his money. did sony at one time do the same for the people that suffered thru the dre issues? no they didn't. the big difference between this gen and last gen. is the fact that there is more options when it comes to systems. sony doesn't dominate the game industry as they did the last two gen's. meaning that i can get multi-plats on other systems. instead of just one.

i find it funny how people will say MS make unreliable systems. when the xbox was very reliable. so out of the two systems MS released. only one of them had the most problems. yet sony had three systems with two of them having problems. and yes i would pay for repairs or get a new one. because it's served me well for going on 5 years. the ps3 was brought for me when MGS4 came out. so no i wouldn't pay for it or get a new one. and again after all the money i spent to have the ps2 fixed. i feel sony should be paying me. when people on this site can say they spent the same amount of money in repairs as i have. then come back and make a case. until then sony and their hypocritical fanboys can kiss it.

Vega that is pure BS. PS2s problems weren't as wide spread as 360s RROD (and there is a reason why 360 is called the most unreliable console ever built... I even doubt if it's only consoles, it might be even in the entire gadget stream). YOUR PS2 broke 3rice not the entire world's... Maybe it was your bad luck or you didn't take proper care of it or you are just pulling things from you @ss it doesn't matter to me. My PS2 is still kicking great after 6 years on rigorous gaming on it and believe it or not my PS1 was working 2 years back when I just plugged it in to check if it was alive...

And the reason why your dear M$ is replacing those things for FREE is cause of the ridiculous media hate and fb hate it got when the problems were evident... They tried to suppress it and even outright denied the problem at the start. But once nearly every 1 in 2 360s started to fail, they had to address the thing as soon as possible and gave the warranty. If Sony's PS2 problems were such widespread, then even it would have done the same, but they weren't like the RROD and you were the unlucky one to face issues (if they are true).

The reason you diss on Sony is nothing but your fanboyism. If you hate it so much, then sell the PS3 and just stop whining about it. I don't want a 360, but at least I don't spew BS 24/7 like Bugie or other 360 fbs here.

I'm blaming MS for a LOT more than just my own personal experience with the x360. Don't be naive. The problems are everywhere:

There is the fatheaded guy who talkes down on Sony all the time.
Before that there was the "you know things break"-guy.
There's no standard HDD.
There's only DVD to work with and we saw how that works with certain types of games (Forza 3). There's the "1080p is not needed" and "HDMI is not needed". There's the "HD-DVD is the futur...oh wait DDL is the future".

The list goes on and on... I cannot believe people can't see the backstabbing MS is doing to them. They out right lie with their commercials about free endless entertainment of xbl and with their "only on x360"-stickers.

And all this time they've been BSing and laughing at Sony for their vision that is the PS3. They don't have the right to talk down on the PS3 when their own console is built like sh*t.
The thing is a powerfull PC processor taped up into a last generation, faulty hardware.

The x360 supporters seem to be former butthurt Dreamcast and xbox supporters who don't care what MS does. All they want to see is the demise of the PS3. They don't have the slightest bit of interest to stop for a second and think about the bigger picture.

BTW vega if your x360 breaks down there's no warranty anymore. The warranty is 3 years ON RROD solely and do you know why they extend the warranty to 3 years? I'll give you a hint: "you know things break". You are talking about this matter waaaaaay too subjectively to be taken seriously.

Here in UK you get a 1 year guarantee with any electrical goods bought in any shop so if your PS2 broke after 4 months you should have got it replaced for free from the shop where you got it. You shouldn't have had to pay for a repair or pay Sony anything. Where you live may be different though, I don't know.
Also I would have made sure I got another years guarantee with replaced console and then when 9 month later it broke again you would have got another free from the same shop.
If it did happen you were very unlucky with all those breakdowns and it shouldn't have happened but sometimes sh!t does happen, thats why we have guarantees.
Like I said earlier it may be different where you live.

yes your right. i guess i pulled these made up repairs out my @ss for the sheer hell of it. because no one but me had problems with the ps2. so much so that i was to only one that filed a class action law suit against sony for the dreaded dre. sure i did. what ever helps you sleep at night. but i guess when everyone system breaks it's because it's there fault. or is that the only excuse you can come up with. maybe just maybe i wasn't the only one that had problems with a sony systems. and it's funny this is the main excuse for fanboys.

i live in NYC USA. sorry they didn't give a 1 year warrenty on the ps2. maybe out there they do that. but here unless you pay for a 1 year warrenty. you won't get one. and sony just did that with the ps3 not the ps1/2.

Personally the only console I have ever had break on me was a ps2 after about 6 years. I can forgive that. So personally I'm not into hating a multi-national corporation. I see them for what they all are. They love your money not you, all of them.

I agree. I think the worst thing that happened and fueled this war was the media. They shouldn't have been so harsh on Sony. The PS3-hate spread like wild fire because of the media. It was uncalled for mostly. Even today people have misinterpretations and misquotes on a hear-say-basis and the hate continues.

we have watched microsoft copy and paste 1080p support,hdmi(abandoning their component 360 buyers),copy games with things like lips,forza,scene it,etc.but sony didn't directly copy XBL.they instead created home.but beat XBL by offering dedicated servers and 40-60-256 players in one game.

as for your sony said....rumble is last gen.it's actually LAST-LAST GEN.we have been using it since ps1/n64 days.second,microsoft had a hand in sony's lawsuit.

it's amazing what you can find on the internet with enough time.as for 4D?4D is time.but if i were looking at sony's progress on 7.1 sound.motion control,3D popping out the screen for movies and games,ken k. surely comes close to that 4D where you become part of the game.don't see 360 ever doing real3d like avatar the movie.

we support ps3 because all around you get more bang for less dollars overall.as you don't have to pay as much or get ripped off.
