With the imminent release of Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, EA have kindly released pretty much the rest of the series for free download; Tiberian Sun, Tiberian Sun Firestorm, Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert are the games on offer. You can download them all for free from the official Command & Conquer website.
A Command & Conquer: Red Alert remake is being developed by fans, with the game now available as a mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
I wish someone would bring back Command & Conquer back - done the way the first dew games were. Red Alert was the best C & C game and even now, it still is fun to play after all these years.

WHAT, is multiplayer is included this is badass!
They released those games as freeware because they where losing players from the online play. People should go play Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. Those ones still have a strong community with them. Thus the reason why EA did not give them the freeware pass.
