What is the world coming to where stuff like this can happen? I remember a simpler time where people were civilized and courteous to each other. Gone are the days where one could sit in a throne and spectate two axe welding nutters for the sake of entertainment. a 27 year old living with his parents can easily be some overgrown loser who all he does is play videogames..... OR... A guy with 3 kids who lost his job and his wife recently kicked him out who can't get a game played cuz he might have a verbal abusing mother.
That's why on stuff like this I never comment on what's fair to happen and to whom, either way he's an idiot for acting irrational and flipping out like that when we know there are other alternatives

The more and more I see articles like this, I get less and less surprised! The truth is this guy is a little to old to be acting like a d-bag, but our youth is even worst. The way the kids are these days I expect to hear a lot more of news like this. I wonder if when he got shot in the ear if he sat down and began to regain health?

If I was this guys brother and I was there when that happened he would have probably wound up in a hospital eating his food through a straw right now because of me. I know gamers get aggravated sometimes when they are disturbed when they are deep in a game but what this guy did in how he lays his hands on a woman and his own mother for that fact is completely unacceptable for any reason in my eyes. There are many ways he could have solved this problem like take a walk to cool off and use a pair of headphones. Because it is never right to lay hands on a woman in an inappropriate way. I have been playing non violent and violent video games for at least twenty years and games have never influenced me to act inappropriately or get violent towards people, and this probably goes 99% of the gaming populous. I could just imagine the politicians having a field day with articles like this and try to twist perception of the non-gaming human populous concerning video games in some negative way just for publicity and a high paying job. What politicians should really start doing is their job by pursuing things that matter that make common sense that are for the better of the country they serve, instead I hear ridiculous tyrannies on things like video games and other unnecessary unimportant things that really are a waste to pursue, meanwhile our country is crumbling morally, economically, and freedom-wise all for the sake of stupid ridiculous politics that make no commonsense in any way and is just plain ridiculous.

Sounds like the guy was mentally ill. How hard is it to be quiet? That's something little kids learn to do in school. He either wasn't in his right mind or he was purposely acting out trying to start some drama with his mom. This guy's lucky his mom isn't like the women in my family becuase he would've had the sh!t beaten out of him.
