The survival horror genre has had its share of ups and downs. Dead Space is one of those amazing milestones that will always creep up on me in the middle of the night, reminding me what a coward I am for not finishing it, because it was far too creepy and intense.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. Epic... I'm going to walk around in the day time and just look at the world and use the game as a relaxing screensaver. All of the game just looks like CGI but it's not.
EDIT
@#4
He was not asking (you) us a question, he was telling us after playing the game he was more spooked from AW, As if the devs are going to reveal too much in this movie like thriller(genre) to everybody that has a PC. lol
that's just a fact
anyway love the look of Alan Wake, best story driven game of 2010 with Mass Effect 2 of course.
the game have cars flying at you and a tornado and all kind of creepy thing.
GOTY contender for sure , and best looking console game imo :)
If intense means walking in a straight path without anything happening then yes.
Well I hope we see some new footage soon. I honestly havent seen anything from the game suggesting its more intense than Dead Space.
but so far none of Alan Wake has been disappointing. It's almost just the opposite which is very surprising given how little the game was talked about leading up to its recent surge in the press.
