I have to say it but crapcom is doing it wrong.

cyguration5936d ago

exactly? I'm not sure I follow.

Is this the Wii version or something?

And if we're already paying for Gold, we're STILL gonna have to pay more? No thank you.

SilentNegotiator5935d ago

Actually, each month comes with a month of LIVE.

However, $15 a month is still a rip off.

On a business stand point release MHO on japan and 360 exclusive is just plain stupid. If it was also on ps3 or what the hell even the wii that could be something different.

Im talking on console version not the pc.

Why is that stupid? They need a real system boost and Monster hunter can be that.

MH Frontier fans in Japan all ready have the game running on their PCs. Also, it's a great game especially each "version" update increases the amount of stuff and monsters you can fight and collect.

Version 7.0 just came out and you get to fight a giant dragon like snake that is bigger than Lao Shun Lung. Version 8.0 is coming out soon and Version 9.0 and 10.0 is coming this 2010.

For those who want to play it and understand a bit of japanese or would just like to print out the "Quick MH Japanese Guide" to play with a paper next to them... follow this link.

You have to pay monthly and you need to install a tunneling program like Xlink Kai to play on JP servers. Use wiki if you need more help.

But if you wait for the 360 version everything will be in ENGLISH! Awesome!

It really is. But so much is in Frontier... there's so much MH3 is missing which become extremely noticeable if you've played MHU. But i was glad at the amazing stuff they added in MH3 especially the new types of water enemies.

Hmm, it looks like they didn't bother to update the graphics to much from the PC version. I suppose they left them the same for whatever reasons they have chosen, and in my opinion it's not a very solid move especially with the graphics of Tri. Then again could this be helpful in streaming of data and such? I don't know a whole lot about it so anything I say on that subject is all pure guessing pretty much.

Then again graphics aren't much for me and Monster Hunter first and foremost is 'Game play over graphics' so I'll still get this regardless if it hits the states. What we or should I say I want//need right now is just more information on the 360 version and not screen shots, at least no more screen shots. Since they are showing the graphics aren't going to be improved it would be nice to know what will be changed and what will be the same for this port.

the game looks fine imo, stop the hating for a online game its looks pretty good

Araceae5935d ago

Tell that to the people hating on WKC

It's just a port of the PC version. It's not brand new like the wii version.
