Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

Blizzard doesn't attend E3. They usually hold their own show Blizzcon about a month after E3 and thats where they make all the announcements.
