the title is kinda misleading,well to people who don't read the whole article.cus if you think about it,this just shows how massive the ps2 software sales were.we have ps3,xbox360, and wii yet softwares sales declined because there aren't many new games on the ps2.this just shows how popular and successful the ps2 is/was ;)

You gotta love how these executives masterfully shift the blame to someone else when their stale strategies begin to fail. Unfortunately, I see this stuff all too often and it makes me wanna... nm.

I bet they'd like it even more if Sony just axed the PS2 years ago when it hit year 5 or 6. THEN what would they have to say (everyone else was doing back then)?

Activision you are just greedy company with fail ips or milk franchises. Anything article with activision and sony involved i already know it will be about you hating sony or blaming them maybe your games just suck. Fix your modern warfare 2 then you can blame somebody.

Um of course there is a software sales decline alot more people are drawling towards the ps3 now its affordable. Also face it the ps2 is probley hiting its ending mark soon.

But Activision is like the little brother blaming the bigger brother for all the trouble hes causing. Its just sad....

Their software decline is due to the fact they come out with basically the same games every year, with the exception of DJ Hero. It's always another Guitar Hero and another COD game; year in and year out.
