I use google chrome a lot so I wouldn't mind this.

Where's all the add-on and extension support that Firefox has?

I just switched to Chrome about 2 weeks ago. And yes it is better, but the one plus for Firefox is the Stumbleupon bar.

If the new Firefox has the same extension support (still better than Chrome) then it might be worth switching back.

But right now Chrome is simple but it has a lot of features that are useful.

firefox IS the best BROWSER out there known to MAN and 4.0 WILL just push it LIGHT YEARS beyond ;)

firefox is like the i phone of the browser world
chrome is the droid lol

firefox has a million add ons
chrome has a nice speed to it and a nice system

unlike phones you can have both. imo i open up different browsers for different things

nothing beats you kno what mode in chrome lol especially when you look at you know what

if they can stop the damn thing crashing every five minutes, if i'm lucky, then maybe i will start using it again, until then i'll stick with chrome.

I wonder what the percentages are for browser usage around the world. I think Firefox has really grown in the last 5 years and of course Chrome will only get bigger because of the mammoth Google behind it.

This is good as it is breaking the monopoly that Microsoft once had.

i still cant get firefox to work after installing chrome even just upgraded to 3.6 and still wont work

While I am a "tech" person by trade and by hobby (as well as a lover/user of Firefox), I come to n4g.com for video game news, not news about Firefox that I can see elsewhere.

PopEmUp i cant do anything with it i open up firefox nothing opens nothing crashes it just appears in the processes on task manager but wont appear on applications

When I was a wee child, I used IE up until IE6. Horrible. I remember trying Firefox 0.8 way back in the day and haven't switched yet*. When Chrome came out, everyone laughed because I said it was good, and look at it now. Recently, FF 3.6 was released and so I switched from Chrome to that. Both browsers are fantastic and it really comes down to a personal taste.

*I bought a brand spanking new iMac this week switching from an old PC. I have to say Safari 4 is really good as well. It still isn't that great on Windows but on OS X it's wonderful. For now, it's my one and only browser and as much I loved Firefox, I just don't think it'd be the same on Mac but I'll probably try it out some day. It'll always hold a special place in my heart...As it was the first REAL browser I ever used.

But let me say this, I'm going to bootcamp Win 7 Pro and when I do, Firefox is surely going to be on there. Bring on 4.0!

Chrome Clone

In their right mind would use IE.

Came out AFTER firefox so how can firefox be a Chrome clone?

Chrome is where it's at, I can't go back to firefox. It just seems so...crowded.
