I have completed the 4 part evidence thing and submitted it but i have not recieved any code to download the demo.

Just as I suspected all along... I have now finally played it and it sucks. Sucks badly. This isn't a game at all. It is 100% just as I've said it was going to be all along, guys. Deny it all you want, when and if you've played it you know full well I am and have been right.

The in game graphics aren't that good. They're nice, but not good or great. They look like a 2nd gen xbox 360 game. They have 3 renders for each character and the narrative one is clearly the best, but when used the backgrounds are far less detailed.

Oh man this is gonna get real good when others get to play it... You cannot defend this one. You just can't. It's a frothing pile of Dog Sh%T. I wouldn't buy this game... err, I'm sorry, QTE Cinematic flopterpiece with your guys money, let alone my own.

"Heavy Rain is a game you don't even need to buy... Just watch all the uploaded movies on Youtube or Gametrailers. Since it's a QTE game with little actual gameplay you'll get the entire expereince and story for free. That's what I'm going to do and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Lame dialogue delievery.
Stiff facial animations.
No control over the gameplay past tiny QTE mini games like "Put the lip stick on" "Find the pocket with the money in it" ...

5. After picking all the evidence go to file dossier and submit.

All there steps might take multiple tries and refreshing. I had 3pcs of evidence but then i lost connection and had to refresh the page.

Any idea why the HOME code that they give you after you register don't work?

Well its like 3 different demo sections.

Part one - 5 min
Part two - 10-20min
Part three - 15-20 min

so overall the demo is around 45 min if y do everything and walk around and look at everything.

The site load in for me. I've tried Chrome, FF, Safari and IE. Nothing works...Been trying for 45 minutes none stop.

memo to devs- for those of us on the fence about buying the game, you really need to make the demo available on the store WITHOUT the gimmicks.

Been playing for an hour................I`m sold!! But lets get it out of the way now for the QTE dislike crowd. Yes, there are QTE events BUT its so much more than simple button presses! For me im totally fine with how they actually work in the game. You can walk round your environment, change camera angle to give you a better perspective, you can look around/move the camera using L3 (the characters head follows the movement). It really is a tremendous exerience!
Now, one thing HR does better than nigh on everything else is presentation.......This things looks jaw dropping!! Hands down THE best character models your likely to this generation! The facial detail is a joy to behold! Excellent lip sync technology, right down to a characters teeth! all modeled in fantastic detail. (epsecially the loading screen with the close up of the characters face). Environments are jam packed with detail, excellent texture resolution, excellent lighting, and a tremendously sharp image quality! fabulous rain/drops/splashes etc ec. They really have gone to town on this!!! Audio wise its great aswell, music especially................All in all its better than i thought it would be and now i can`t wait for the retail version to hit.

This game is Epic best looking cinematic game I have ever seen or played since Shenmue on Dreamcast. The story is so deep the character models are realistic as hell. I got beat down by the bald headed dude after talking to that girl he whipped my azz! LOL.

Totally agree, I played the game and kind of had a MAG like moment, I applaud the effort, but its just not for me and the graphics are impressive until you think about it being a giant quick time event game

If this game is anything like Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy, it's going to be really unique and unlike anything you've played before. Which is great in my opinion. Most games these days are pretty much the same, shoot this, kill that, drive this etc... It's nice to see some fresh ideas. This will definitely be a nice surprise to those who pick it up!

Damn I have only 18 more days until it releases. I want to get at least level 2 prestige before this comes out. Oh well, I got MAG to be my FPS for the year. Well until Resistance 3, Killzone 3 or Starhawk come out.

they've even hid the demo away on the PSN and made it nigh on impossibile to locate due to them being ashamed of such a product.

the only thing heavy lame has going for it are the graphics (and alan wakes are 10 times better),the gameplay is gimped beyond belief.

PS3 - it only does shoddy games.

I was 1 of the lucky ones who got a code 30mins as soon as the articles started to pop up. So it was good timing on my part. Enjoyable demo too i played it in SD and then in HD in HD its superb.

Got my code! Site worked for me. Only half of the screen loaded though when I had to select my evidence. Sort of annoying. Also when you finally do get your code I love it how when you try to click at the bottom to read the "View redemption instructions" that stupid little black pop-up keeps getting in the way. Stupid design.

It's funny. You read some of the comments of articles posted in the past about the QT events and I have no problem with it. That might be because I was playing ZORK and all sorts of other text adventures in the 80's where you had type everything you wanted to do.

Walking with the right trigger sucks so hard I can't beleive why they didn't use the left analog stick. You think RE has tank controls wait until you play this, nasty controls. Other than that it's a good demo, but it does go over the top with the QTE's. Will buy the game though, it looks great and I like the idea of the game
