Mass Effect 2 Class Guide: Sentinel

From the SarcasticGamer.com article: "Welcome to the first in a series of guides for the different starting classes in Mass Effect 2! If you enjoy this guide, check out our other Survival Guides.

Mass Effect 2 has a number of starting classes that allow a variety of ways to play the game. In my [author, SarcasticGamer.com's Lono] first play through, I chose the stout Sentinel. The Sentinel is a jack-of-all trades and the closest thing you'll get to a "Tank" Class in Mass Effect 2. In this guide, we'll give you the pros and cons of playing as the Sentinel, along with some specific recommendations to get the most out of your play through."

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman447d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave695d ago (Edited 695d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
