I am really looking forward to this game. Free Radical is an awesome developer. The game should be good on all platforms. Too bad we couldn't have cross platforming, have true "console wars."

This game is not that serious just seems like another shooting game with some kool next gen graphics, Honeslty i think they are just trying terribly to hype this average lookin game. Serously if this game stands a chance atleast come out with it same day not that it will be bad for ps3 but with there Installed base (meaning i doubt it will move consoles speaking for 360 and ps3) also i think its safe to say this is not a system seller.. what i am really trying to say is in order to generate a profitable revenue wouldnt releasing it for all platforms seem wiser?

Damn you Ubisoft. Why do they always do stuff like this. At E32006 Haze was announced for ps3,360, and pc. Now the only "confirmed" release is for ps3 in november. They did the same thing with assasins creed when they announced it at X05 as project assassins but then at E32006 it was only for ps3 and then at X06 they demoed it on 360. I wouldnt be surprised if Haze is shown this year at X07 with either a november release date or a march release date.

I want to play it though because the whole taking drugs seems cool and seeing how I'm a what nerds call a "graphics whore", I want to play it because the game looks alot like crysis. I would hate to have to play this on ps3, its just not as good a controller as 360 is when it comes to FPS.

I think we will know for sure about the exclusivity of this game at either E3 or X07.

there is no exclusive rights to this game.
the pc & 360 versions will follow within a month or two of the PS3 version.
So who really cares? Will that stop anyone from playing it? Didn't think so.

Now maybe if it had Bluray, Cell, RSX, Hard drive in every box, then it would, but it doesn't. Fortunately PS3 does =-). Microsoft just built an XBOX 1.5 and these are the results. Have you seen the game? It's incredible! It'll need tons of storage space, a kick as$ processor and the hard drive will be used to stream environments rather than horrible load times.

Yea this is definitely going to be another assasins creed story because AC was demoed at X05 on 360 and then on the ps3 version was "confirmed" at E32006 then it was announced for 360, ps3, and pc at X06.

Haze was DEMOED at E32006 on 360 with no ps3 version even announced at the time, ps3 lead version my ass. And was in the 360 montage at X06 and now only the ps3 version is "confirmed". I dont understand why Ubisoft does this as if people are stupid.

To me there is not much of a difference with a $600 (PS3) purchase and a $450 (360 + xboxlive ) I never really understood the price argument. You are shelling out money for both systems.

I suspect we'll see a few of these. A game scheduled for release in fall 2007 (and an FPS to boot) that will slide out of fall 2007 "on the Xbox 360" but remain exclusive to the PS3. Gee, I wonder why? I mean, are people really going to be playing Halo 3? Like from Sept 25th through the holidays?

Release is on PS3 in the fall as a "Halo killer" then bring it out on the Xbox 360 in March 2008, when some of the Halo players want something a little different/new.

Didn't Dark Sector just bail on the fall release as well because of competition? They didn't keep their PS3 version in place, but looks like Ubisoft is willing to give it a try.

But I'll be buying war hawk, heavenly sword, uncharted, Socom and Asassins creed. I'm sorry but all of my buddies who play Halo 3 have confirm that is almost like halo 2 with sharper graphics. I don't think halo will be that impressive this holiday season, but I think from what I heard War Hawk is going to be big.

Why would I care about a game developed on PS3 first. It would end up being terrible albeit better than whats ported from xbox360 to PS3 without serious rework. I don't usually buy a game unless the primary platform is either the console of choice and maybe the PC.

Wow so at first it was, oh Ubisoft is a lazy developer and they are the new EA and they're on microsofts balls and blah blah blah. And now its yay, ps3 is the lead platform. We love Ubisoft. Please give me a break.

Whether the game is leading on ps3 or not I'm still getting it on 360 only because its controller is better for shooters and plus I really dont think the ps3 version will be any better.

This E3 is going to be pretty amazing, even with the smaller showing of developers and limited space. We are going to find out a lot more about Haze and the development of as-of-now secret titles for each system. The stuff to really talk about are the emerging first-party titles. A third party title is never a sure-fire deal, and exclusivity contracts are often timed in one way or the other. Once you look over the first party land into the world of third party trickery, you're playing with fire. I'm excited about Haze, sure, but what I am more excited about is where this gaming phenomenon is headed. Fanboy or not, we are all fans of gaming... If we weren't, we wouldn't be typing anything on this site, or chewing the anonymous out for being a fanboy voicing a "gaming extremist" opinion. This game is a hot topic, and is the second most talked about game online right now next to Halo 3, but all this fuss will turn into a frenzy once we get our hands on both titles. Will Halo "finish the fight?" or will Haze be the cheeky monkey to win our bloodied hearts over? I guess we'll find out... eventually

I hope it does go exclusive for PS3 actually, because 360 has already got Halo 3 and in terms of FPS I think that is enough, they don't need another game like that. Although I do believe 360 owners would like to see this on 360, it seems like it may be going for PS3 exclusive. Maybe Ubisoft doesn't have time to port it.

I also doubt this game is just exclusive to PS3. This is AC all over again. This is all strategy because they know Halo 3 is on the way, it would be stupid to release this game for the X360 around the same time. Plus the 360 has so many good games coming out, as well as a lot of FPS games, so I don't see the big deal as a 360 fan, but yeah for th ePS3, all can rejoice, you fans need games bad, well anything.

I never though the day would come, for PS3 fans flaming/praising over an FPS games...after all the number one game for the PS3, I think, has been, what else, an FPS game.

Personally the Dual Shock 3 controller stinks at FPS games, ever since I bough "MOH" and tried to play on the PS2, man those analogs are not situated right, so, I don't think I'll ever buy a FPS for the PS3, unless I could use a better controller. Forget graphics and extras, if I can't control the game then I won't be as satisfied.

haze will play better on the 360 because the 360 controller was built for FPS. It really isnt microsofts fault either. Their only really really succesful game from the xbox era was a FPS so the built the controller behind FPS. Most of the ppl that buy 360's are FPS fans but honestly i cnt stand the controller for anything else. Soccer totally sucks on it and so does pretty much everything else thats not shooting. But to be fair forza plays great on the controller prob better than ps3 controller for racing too but am more of a racing wheel kinda guy. If you can't see the 360 controller was built for FPS read your manual under button description and you will clearly see right and left TRIGGER

Lair has the best soundtrack of a major game flop that I can remember. I still listen to it from time to time on Youtube.

Haze broke me. I was such a massive fan of Timesplitters that I didn't believe for one second they could make such a generic, sub-par game. It even had a couple of neat ideas, but nothing that could save it from utter failure.

I learnt a harsh lesson from that game.
