People here are in really deep denial. Trying to talk logic is futile. To them a game on multiple platforms is actually exclusive to one (yea it sounds that stupid).

So you definition of movie would thus have to go into MW2 and EVERY GAME released in the past ten years. In heavy Rain the only difference is the prompts are more visible and less background. Is pressing X o jump over a wall a QTE? NO! Heavy Rain is as much a game as Halo, Gears, Resistance, Final Ftanasy, COD. The only difference is fanboys making up their minds on a 5 second clip.

So what if it'll attract a Niche crowd? That will not stop me or the other people with sense from enjoying it. But hey, their you go. Marking down one game for it's reviews then declaring another game to be a movie and ignoring it's reviews.... it just got a 9.7 I think... that's pretty good wouldn't you say although it's too early to see how critics will find it, I know I will enjoy it.

as i said heavy rain. is more like heavy GTE. yes you can walk around in a 3D enviroment. but most of the game is more GTE than actual gameplay. even the developer said it's not a game. so again what did i say that wasn't said already. and saying it's more of a game than Halo, Gears, Resistance, Final Ftanasy, COD,ect. are your really serious. how much GTE is in those games. seriouly how much.? none

i don't see anything i said was wrong. other than the two i said GoW3 and GT5. is mostly what people are waiting for. i never said heavy rain was a bad game.it may not be a game i prefer and i sure alot of people feel the same way. but it won't atract a large following as you and other may think. sony hasn't realy gotten the word out for this game. as they have done with other exclusive before it. so what will make this game any different.

your saying that i'm using different circumstances to prove a point. You applied two different circumstances to prove a point

First you used reviews to talk about MAG
Then went on to question the game in Heavy Rain, surely it'd be more equal to compare both on either REVIEWS or GAMEPLAY but never both.

And I'm not denying that, logic should be applied universally. I believe the problem was that last year the 360 had few quality exclusives comparatively that's what many said. Now say the same regarding the PS3, Wii or 30 this year? You can't because they are all getting plenty of quality of exclusive.

game is more GTE than actual gameplay.

From the gameplay I've seen I've seen a guy walking in an enviroment pressing buttons to do stuff and in combat he has to react to what the enemy does and counter with your own pressed, How is that ANY different that holding square to pick up a weapons of quickly tapping buttons for melee attacks in gears or uncharted. The DIFFERENCE is the prombts are allways on screen and vary.

While the 360 could play DS perfectly, I think XBL would ruin the experience. Would have friends sharing what's suppose to be a desolate, single adventure.

And then there's the thing of having to pay for the online access to have a desolate, single adventure where you can call on strangers for help or have them invade it.

I don't see where your coming from... that's the point of DS... on Live it would simply be more robust

Its the difference of:

- Being alone while battling an insurmountable evil.
- Seeing the ghostly shadows of others doing the same often times seeing how they die but not what kills them.
- Being be able to summon one of them who might or might not help you.
- Having one of them invade your world w/o warning to visit even more grief than you're already dealing with

To:

- Going through a dungeon while a buddy talks you via the network telling you of traps, treasure and ambushes.
- Having them come in directly to help.
- Inviting them in for some friendly PvP action.
- Reporting or cursing out some d*ck because he invaded your game w/o permission. Not that MS would likely have it so that some random person can just pop into your game.

Like I said 2 games and the rest are never heard of, unconfirmed and wish list.
