PC Gaming at one point was the premiere platform for all our gaming needs, but in this day and age the situation has changed dramatically. PC Gaming year over year shows a consistent decline as opposed to the rising generation of Sony and Microsoft with killer games and multi-media applications, PC Gaming is no longer relevant.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

PC Gaming is far from dead or eliminated.
They have the superior games 99% of the time. They have the superior controls (KB & M has better precision than analog sticks).
They have mods.
Their games are freaking cheaper.
Dedicated Servers.

You say people don't follow PC gaming the same way people follow something like God of War. Does the term fanboy mean nothing to you? Console gaming is full of fanboy wars. The 360 and Ps3 are in a constant fight, the PC is like the kid with the popcorn watching it.
"PS3 HAS BEST GRAPHICS!" Nope, PC does.
"360 HAS BEST ONLINE!" Nope, PC does.
"WE HAVE THE MOST EXCLUSIVES!" Nope, PC does.
Yes, console gaming is mainstream, but you fail to comprehend that PC gaming is one of the backbones of the gaming industry. It has amassed numerous hardcore players across the world. Just because it doesn't have a brand, or mascot, or just because they aren't fighting with another platform doesn't mean that it's irrelevant or any less important.
It's funny. PC gaming always thrives yet Sony is still suffering to break-even and MS has lost billions with hardware failures. Ladies and gentleman, behold the awesomeness of console gaming!
You say Sony and MS gaming is rising while the PC is slumping. Console gaming has been huge since PSOne sir. If the PC didn't die then why would it die now that it's more open, bigger, and better than before?
You claim most games are not on PC...and then list exclusives like God of War for proof. Well when you manipulate it like that, obviously something like GoW isn't on the PC. You continue with your mental institution of a video and claim that the PC requires graphical updates like buying a new graphics card to get the "best" out of the PC.
The MINIMUM requirements for the PC are still better than the console version. Gaming in MAXIMUM settings is not REQUIRED. So please don't try to resort to making the same, tired, and overused and overdone fallacy of trying to imply that graphic cards are needed every year. It's no different than saying you need to buy a multitap, a network adapter to enjoy PS2 games. It's not needed but it does enhance the experience. Take any multiplatform and you will realize that the PC version is superior. But then again, you failed to see the difference between the PS3 and 360 version of Bayonetta.
