MLB 2K9 came up a bit short last year and even though chicks dig the long ball, they got bored of it in 2K9. Glitches that were in the game got sorted out after a quick update but there were still problems that were pretty noticeable when the situation came up. It didn't kill the game but it was bothersome when it happened to the user and not the CPU. 2K knows they have a game that can take the baseball crown and this year they are swinging for the fences. So let's get in the batter box and see what 2K will be throwing at us this year."

XMNR: With the American and National League Championship games still to go, 2K Sports ran a simulation to determine who will capture the conference championships and go on to win the World Series. The result is a prediction that, after dispatching the home town Atlanta Braves, the San Francisco Giants do likewise with the Philadelphia Phillies before going on to meet and defeat the New York Yankees in the World Series.
