GamingOwl:
"Anybody here play competitive multiplayer? What game? Modern Warfare 2, right? Killzone 2? Uncharted 2? Halo 3? Gears of War 2?
How many of you play a game where powerful weapons lay scattered around the map at the start of each match? Half? Not even half?
How many play a game where your health/shield doesn't automatically regenerate when you hide behind a wall? A lot less no doubt. Ten percent? That much? Don't make me laugh."

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.
So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it
I wonder if Microsoft will port Reach over to Playstation I quite enjoyed that game. I played Halo 3 and it was not bad I have Halo 2 on the OG Xbox I just need some cables to hook up to my tv to play it.

A new teaser in a Helldivers 2 Xbox launch trailer seems to suggest that a crossover with Halo 3: ODST is on the way.

Ayi Sanchez: "Old work. I did this 10 years ago now as part of a material test for a remaster of Gears of War 2 that never happened."
Weird, in mean they had no studios to make anything really new so there's a part of me thats kinda glad they scrapped it. If they released this back then it would of gotten ridiculed for remakes and remastering stuff. Now they have new and interesting games so the collection is harmless.
Geez, Xbox, something like that I would’ve bought Day 1. Great business decisions over there.
I can only assume the the Gears of War Remaster flopped so they decided to scrap the other remakes?
Seems short sighted to me as I really enjoyed the 1st remaster. Regardless, I'll snap up some remakes to play on my PS5.
Nah, more a old-school online gamer. I prefer an equal playing field to jump into instead of people who have devoted more time to a game getting perks, that isn't how an online game should work, imo, it's very alienating that people are better just because they've had more hours of their lives to play it more. To me, it doesn't prove skill most the time, it proves having more TIME to play the game.
This is probably also why Halo multiplayer worked so well because it was an evolution from the arena shooter, again, things in the same places.
I still can't get into these RPG elements in online games now. It's as if someones sucked away all the fun and made it into a chore instead of a free for all.
