here where our comment goes wrong at. when you say ME2 won't sell 3 million. are you talking about on both systems sells(360/pc). or are you just talking about the 360 version?

because being as how all sonyfanboys say it's not exclusive. it will surely sell over 3 million on pc/360 colletively. many of the sonyfanboys on this very site.have said they where buying the pc version.which will help the pc version sell on par with the 360 version. hence asuring ME2 sell well over the 3 million you claim it won't. unlike UC2 and KZ2 which only sold on one system.

The American media is very pro Xbox, because it's an American product owned by one of the biggest American owned corporations.

Just like in Japan, they probably downplay the Xbox in the media there, which would explain why the hardware sales there are nonexistant. (aside from the fact that 360 has no games)

Unfarted 2 is a great game (lol), and it got GOTY awards up and down because NOT giving it GOTY (GT comes to mind) would just be silly. It literally IS that good, but too bad the Xbot fangirls will never know, since they're so busy playing Halo 3.

Except the PC doesn't really compete against with another computer platform. The Mac platfrom has a few games, but not enough to be any real competition to the PC. On the other hand the PS3 and 360 are primary competitors in the console market and when one game is on one console and not the other it makes a big difference in the competition between the two platforms.

Furthermore, you are dead wrong when you claim that Xbots invented the term "console exclusive". The term has been widely used for a long time. I can show you a ton of examples from game magazines that I have from last generation where they refer to games like Chronicles of Riddick on Xbox as "console exclusive". Everybody in the industry recognizes that distinction, except a few PS3 fanboys.

ME2 is Windows PC exclusive because you can't play it on a MAC or a PC with linux. It's also 360 exclusive because you can't play it on the PS3.

Mass Effect 2 will indeed be a GOTY contender. I don't think there's any RPG this year that can score higher. FF13 was said to be dissappointing, so I doubt it's going to recieve anything higher than a 9.5. I see nothing in the way of Mass Effect 2 in terms of RPGS this year. The graphics are great, the storytelling is unrivaled (Show me a current Gen RPG that presents it's story better than the mass effect series), The combat is fun, and the universe is full of things to do. Mass Effect 2 deserves every bit of the 9.6 it got. Good job bioware. Tuesday can't come quick enough for me.

Mag will get mixed reviews cause some people love it while others can hate it, u need to play as a team to win which ismore than I can say for most fps's out their. Am I the only one that doesn't really care about mass effect 2. I'll get it eventually but I just hate RPGs in general.

I don't 'dislike' anything at a personal level (and i also own a wii/Ds/Gamecube btw, and am living with a guy who owns an XBox (non 360)). It's a piece of plastic; to do so would be irrational. Hell, I very well might buy a 360 if Natal ends up all that (or if enough of a cache of games assemble only there i can't say no to not already within my options).

I'm not sure what 'agenda' you are referring to... Or why this 'agenda' would 'get annoying'. If you've read my comments, you'd also recognise their frequency is 'directly' in correlation with this incessant and frankly ridiculous need to play down the existence of a PC version as an option in situations where people would like to pretend a game is some wonderful 'tool' (weapon) to have a wack at another system with (those games exist, if you are into that, but they're not - or not in absolute terms - these multiple platform ones).

If you've 'read' my comments, you'd also see that i apply this across the board. If and when PS3 games start coming out with PC versions equivalent or better and no 360 versions, (DC Universe is one example i've brought up previously), PS3 fans will be acting equally obnoxiously and ridiculously if they start playing down the PC version for convenience sake.

And i've been consistent in saying i'd take the PC version of a game - barring select situations where style/control favours consoles (eg. plaftormers) - even when a PS3 version exists.

Like it or not, games on multiple systems aren't any 'one' systems/platforms 'parade'. This game isn't the '360's' parade any more than it's the PC's - except ironically as a purely '360 versus Ps3' position - and needing for it to be i would presume is only so as to be able to take a wack at 'that other system'.

I can't see any other reason people would so vehemently 'disagree' with someone suggesting it's good news for the 'PC' (as well as the 360), which is all this innocuous post i responded to has said. That's one poster, and it's not the guy i responded to who has already received 4 disagrees for the 'sin' of mentioning the PC, or the guy with 8 and counting (and there's even worse examples in previous threads) - if someone's actually 'pretending' to own something for a forum posting win (and if that guy you've picked out is) then that's it's own pathetic loss, really.

Besides which, this is an 'actual' straw man - unlike my own bafflement of this absolute defensive hostility towards PC users existence (whether they own a PS3 or not aside) regarding their excitement regarding this PC product in a PC (also) thread. True, they haven't. Mind you, his comment puts the two on even grounds, so it would make sense that they haven't. He hasn't just 'mentioned' the PC, but also placated the 360 users in the same sentence. Which is fair enough (maybe his PC is older or he just prefers sitting on the couch playing games on a big tv, i don't know, it's his call), but one shouldn't 'have' to do this to not get a rabid disagree, or a string of them.

'If' it's just PC devoid taunting Ps3 fanboys - as opposed to PS3/PC owners (ones who are the real deal - and maybe even bought the PS3 with their PC catalogue in mind) - getting slammed, fair enough. But given the tone, and the seemingly unspecific breadth of the 'instant slams' i'm not so sure it's that 'neat' and even-handed a process.

I don't own a 360 at present, and don't want to have to enter into each PC thread (as an owner of a PC) actively placating in advance or get a bunch of cat calls from folks determined to use the game as an exclusive, and agitated when PC owners suggest it's not (or even have the gall to go further, and, dare they, suggest advantages of their PC version) . That's messed up.

And like i say, it'll be as messed up when DC Universe or Final Fantasy 14 or whatever comes out if it's also the attitude of PS3 fans.

If you bothered to look at my bio or any of my previous post about Mass Effect 2, you would know that I am excited about the game and that its my most wanted 360 game and that its the game that has me considering a 360 purchase despite my issues with the systems reliability and other concerns.
