Vstep, the developer of Ship Simulator Extremes, is well known in commercial and military circles for the realism of its software. In fact, many companies use their simulators to train captains before the step behind the wheel of a real ship. However, the company decided it wanted to really test the skills of its users by putting them in extreme weather or maritime situations and see how they'd react. Now, gamers everywhere will be able to test their skills with the upcoming Ship Simulator Extremes.
Paradox Interactive and developer VSTEP announced today that the next DLC offering for their hard core nautical ship simulation game Ship Simulator Extremes, the Ship Simulator Extremes: Customs Vessels DLC, will be absolutely FREE.
Ship Simulator Extremes presents a challenging and realistic sim-based captaining experience, with the Customs Vessels DLC expanding the role-playing and sim challenge modes by putting the player in the role of an ICE/Customs Officer who must inspect ships as they enter the duty zones of the port.
