Nintendo wii owners; eat your hearts out ~ wow. I hope you guys / gals are satisfied with wii sports and wand controllers, ZTP, et al, because those are nex-gen graphics right there baby. I know this has nothing to do with wii, but wow...just wow.

Doesn't it seem weird that alot of Mass Effect news and pics are coming out. Usually when a lot of these stuff comes out it means the release is on the corner.

Halo 3 is coming out in September. I think it would be a huge mistake on bioware if they release it the same month as halo 3. Personally, I think they should release it in July because they wouldn't have to worry about another AAA title taking sells that month. I can't remember the specific game but I read that the game pushed back its release date because of halo 3.

If they were really smart they would release it in November, no major title has taken the space as must have title of November.

Those screens are beautiful, if this game turns out looking exactly like those screens ( yeah I know they're in game), but if it manage to look that good this game will be gorgeous.

Question: This game is RPG right, but will it play like a FPS only or it will have that traditional RPG gameplay and feeling..

What i've seen on the videos tells me is more of a FPS with some RPG elements.. someone cares to enlighten me?

Mass Effect is the best looking game across all systems.

Whooop- Mass Effect is an rpg, so you go around talking to people and getting quests and whatnot so its traditional in that sense but I'm guessing your talking about combat.

Well you can play it like a twitch shooter but at the same time you can pause gameplay and decide how you(and your two squadmates) are going to attack. One character might be a soldier and use heavy weapons and heal the party. One might have tech powers and be able to disable your enemies shield and the other one may have biotic powers and be able to obliterate the enemy once your other squad member has disabled the shield.

Thats just one scenario. Biotic and tech specialists have a range of powers. Bioware wanted to be able to please everyone so if you want to play like a shooter you can but if you want to play like an rpg you can.

i dont care what system you own, this is arguably the best game coming out for anything. Ps3 owners and Wii owners, look into it and you will be amazed. i am not saying Final fantasy or halo 3 won't be good, but this game also has a chance to be the best.

Don't find it that impressive on the graphics department. Don't know about the gameplay but what I've seen so far I find it OK, just OK and nothing more.

Not my kind of game but everybody has his taste, I reckon many of you like this game. I'm still sceptic, but maybe if I see a new trailer I will change my mind.

I would rather them take the time to polish up the game for a December release than try to get it out the door in July or August. Extra few months could make the gameplay match these stunning graphics.

I'm not surprised everything I have ever read about this game has said Mass Effect looked absolutely stunning, or something along those lines. Also many 360 owners have the in-game trailer downloaded on their 360's which shows off a small portion of gameplay/combat and if the trailer is any indication of how this looks and plays in action then its a no-brainer that this game is a Killer App. It won alot of awards from last E3 for a reason. Now I'm not knocking Halo3 but I know some thought I was crazy when I said along time ago that this game might surpass Halo3 as the best game coming out this year for the 360 and quite possibly GOTY. Thankfully for me there is no choice to make, err correction there is ONLY one choice to make which means I'll be taking Master Chief and Commander Shepard for a 'lil stroll on release day.

It looks good is because this game is using Unreal Engine 3 which the PS3 has to and plus most of the XBox 360 games are using the Unreal Engine 3 to make these graphics like Gears of War BioShock TooHuman this game.

Who cares what engine it uses it looks great and thats that!

Their highest rated, best remembered, socially loved franchise... and they have small team working on it for the past 2- 3 years?

Absolute garbage company along side all the heads that made Andromeda.

Maybe Saudi Arabia make something out of this.

overall if they could get CDPR and quadratic dream to help them make the game that would give me hope for the game
