I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.

Byonetta is like Transformers 2 and Darksiders is like District 9 to me.
Well seeing how much more I enjoyed District 9 over Transformers 2 I'd have to agree with cmrbe. I'm 15 hours in (70%) and apart from a random memory overflow bug occasionally rstarting my ps3 when I quit the game, Darksiders has been as enjoyable as U2 for me.
That game is PURE PURE Action...Doesn't get any better than that.
Darksiders(currently playing) is more adventurous and more like a Zelda meets some other slasher. Better pacing...etc
In the end. No the same type of game.
Different kind of games. Still, I prefer Darksiders hands down.
But it´s a mather of taste and i didnt like Bayonetta at all.
