Sadly, the majority of these diversions have a lifespan about as long as the events themselves due to reliance on button-mashing controls, and over-simplified mechanics."

The last attempt – centered on the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing – failed miserably due to ridiculous mechanics, clunky and sometimes impossible control, lackluster technicals and an almost complete lack of pageantry and theatricality. The latter is part of what makes the Olympics great, if we've already forgotten, and while Vancouver 2010 still lacks that, Eurocom made good strides in righting many of the past wrongs."
3djuegos: In an effort to recoup the mediocre Beijing 2008, SEGA revitalizes its Olympic franchise with a much greater Vancouver 2010. We are not in the final title of Olympic sports, but to a very serious leap forward and before a title is not negligible.
