Heavy Rain PS3 Bundle Revealed

PlayStation LifeStyle writes:

"As the release draws closer for a title that will bring unique, interactive gameplay on the PlayStation 3 like no other, France has a new PS3 bundle in it's forecast. Seeing that Quantic Dream is based in Paris, France, it would make sense for them to make all of France dripping wet with a new Heavy Rain PS3 bundle."

RealityGamer5964d ago

Just because I said that Heavy Rain isn't my type of game and I personally prefer alan wake and that means im stealth trolling? Interesting.

I think the main problem is that you say that Alan wake is better even though this topic has nothing to do with alan wake not to mention the two games are completely different and niether is out yet, go troll in the open zone.

I disagreed with your comments, bathyj, mainly because I thought at first glance that you were a fanboy, who at any sight of a positive comment about a 360 game, would claim fanboyism. Then I read a comment this idiot posted in another article.

If you knew about his recently created account, then I apologize. However, if you did not know about his previously posted retarded comments, and just think he was a fanboy just because he said he liked Alan Wake and that Heavy Rain wasn't his type of game, then I retract it.

Point is people, RealityGamer is a troll (either that or a complete moron). Check out some of his comments and you will see what I am talking about. http://n4g.com/up/118643/co...

Alan Wake has nothing to do with a PS3 bundle you loser. I log in to give you disagrees because you're a lame troll.

Bathyj5963d ago

Yeah, I knew about this clown from another thread. He's either Bungie or one of his other buttpuppets. Creates a new account when his current one gets low and then tops them both up with his own accounts. Loser.

Dont sweat the disagree, no blood, no foul.

@DelusionalBungie = DelusionalGamer

If this is not your type of game (FPSz lover maybe?), why are you posting here?

And I hope you'll enjoy that Open-world game called Alan Wake....oh wait, the game is not Open-World anymore in order to make the graphics look a bit better

lol

They should sell this bundle everywhere. That's a sexy looking box.

Interesting but unless Sony feed a heavy marketing surrounding the game, I doubt it's a system seller. Bundling God of War or Gran Turismo is a good choice, but Heavy Rain, I'm not sure (and don't get wrong, I love Quantic Dream, and I'm sure I'll love Heavy Rain, but I'm afraid the game will belong to the overlooked gems of this year).

The Bundle is still way cheaper than Xbox's Splinter Cell Bundle (which is priced at a freakin $540+) it will sell good but its prolly going to be less bundles made compared to the FF bundle

JonnyBigBoss5964d ago

Seriously, France is going to eat this game up.

I wish this deal was coming state side and in the UK.

Pumbli5963d ago

Looks like 2 people don't want it in the US and UK.

Please stop comparing video games to movies

"Many video games catch not only great commercial attention but remarkable critical attention as well. We have seen games like Heavy Rain, The Last of Us Part II, and even entries in the Metal Gear series described as fantastic interactive experiences, even heralded in the same way as Hollywood's greatest films.

I would suggest that not only is this an unfair comparison but also a harmful one. Video games, by their very nature, are an intricately different medium and should be weighed against one another rather than another form of media," Phillip writes for GF365.

Yes, please stop. They're better than most hollywood drivel nowadays.

BLAKHOODe2011d ago

I think Hollywood films will becoming increasingly more like video games in the future, especially as the world embraces the "new normal" from the pandemic. It makes sense, as games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales showcase just how realistically we're reaching in graphical capabilities, as well as showcase extreme action sequences in spectacular ways. And as time goes by, it'll get easier and cheaper to produce such "art", as well as create new star "actors" that never age, never die, never complain, never gets involved in scandals, etc. Technology is amazing and we're only just getting a taste of what it'll eventually be.

sourOG2011d ago

No. Some games are like movies.

medman2010d ago (Edited 2010d ago )

No. For the money spent, a quality game provides far more entertainment value than a quality movie. Especially when looking at what is going on in the world, and how a studio can attempt to pilfer from consumers by charging 30 dollars for Mulan via streaming. Ridiculous. There is no comparison....games all day.
