I own 25 of the top 100 games.

ICO was ok (& very well rendered & crafted) for it's time..

... any football game (to any american i mean soccer game). pro evolution soccer should be there for being a accurate and excellent simulation of a sports game. and max pain should be there because it was the first game to do the slow motion spinny matrix thing and did it good. do you guys think that anything else is missing?

It is particularly imposible to form that kind of list. It is too subjective to be perfect, this list is just the matter of compilers' preferences. All depends on age of compilers, time they played games from and platforms they played.
IHMO this list is missing the greatest key games that made break-thrus in game industry like Elite, Quest series by Sierra, Retailator, Dune 2, Wing Commander, Wolfenstein for PC.I bet noone of compilers have never heard of Zilog80-based computers like Yamaha, predecesstors of PCs, not many heard of Commodore C64 or Atari Amiga.
I think the games that were progenitors of computer genres as we recognize them or founders of long-lasting series must be included in this list.

Dune 2 for first real-time strategy
Sonic as founder of all Sonicss
EQ and UO for first MMORPG
"Quest" games by Sierra for first adventure/quest games
Ulitimas for RPG as we know them (IHMO Ultima 6 was the best)
etc.

This may be from 2005 and thats why none of the new ones are on there, I don't see anything on IGN about this so i'm pretty sure it's old, Report as old.

but i still would put halo a little higher up, its a game that really sparked multi-player and then later online play to help us get to where we are now

i like where tie fighter is, and C&C Red Alert, best command and conquor, even though i would of thought they would have KOTOR up there

Good list although i would personally put Final Fantasy VII higher and where is Megaman II? That game was a classic surely.

It was over-shadowed by God of War, which came out the same year. Yeah, GOW is good, but...better than DMC3? You have to be kidding me!

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
