Back in the day where the palette multiplayer games consisted of local Crash team racing, Mario kart 64, Goldeneye, Super Smash bros and such, nobody really cared about the need for 'balance', 'level progression' and 'achievements' Games were played just for pure fun, who cared if the guns weren't balanced or if some weapons were too 'cheap' there was nothing better than running around with a RC-P90 draining out the massive clip on your buddies, humiliating them and accuse them of screen looking. And will mute people talking incessantly for no reason or playing loud crappy music. When it gets too stupid I just turn off the voice chat volume completely if chat isn't necessary to the game. On the PC there are quite a few, but If they do that I don't have much tolerance on my TF2 server so I just mute them, for everyone.
Never had an xbox but I hear It's bad on there.
