Day 1 buy
.
I've been waiting for this game since they showed the first tech demos in '06. The graphics have come so far from then. I've had to double my efforts to find a job just so that I can buy this game. Day 1 for sure. I really hope this game sells well and makes the industry turn their heads. Somnipotent is absolutely correct about the market being saturated with not just FPS but general purpose shooters, be they TPS or RPGs that focus primarily on a shooting mechanic. Not that many of these games aren't great (bioshock, UC, fallout, ME to name a few), but it's true that most developers just haven't been able to think outside the box in the way that Quantic seems to. This game looks so good, I think I might even be able to use it to get my parents into gaming. I plan to play it with guests who can suggest what I should do each time I play so that we can all share in the decision making and to vary the experience when I play through on different occasions.
