The director of Madworld has told ONM that he'd be interested in making a sequel to his violent Wii game.
In an interview that will appear in the new issue of Official Nintendo Magazine which Platinum's Shigenori Nishikawa reveals that he'd like to make Madworld 2.
The motion-controlled maverick of a console that had everyone from age 9 to 99 swing a TV remote to bowl and painstakingly recreating themselves as Miis, had its share of hits, but even so, some titles didn’t quite get their due.

Beneath all the Smash and shovelware, the Wii really did have quite a few gems.
Not a bad list.. I would add Excitebots, Kororinpa 1 & 2, Bit.Trip series, Geometry Wars: galaxies

Keanu Reeves appearing in the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 is far from the strangest celebrity video game appearance. Game Luster's Kate Mitchell highlights gaming's most unexpected voice acting moments.
For all of the controversy and gnashing of teeth about this game, it was probably still a modest success.

It has slowly, agonizingly, made its way to about 400K lifetime sales:

And it probably would've sold better had they priced it at $39 or so from the start (there's no way a 6-hour long brawler with no replay value or online support is worth $50).
Make it less of a repetitive waggle-fest, maybe string together stages for an open world, bring back the commentary team, and Platinum could really make something of the template they created with the first game.
Yea, they told IGN that they would be willing to make a sequel back before the game was even released.
I dont know if i would buy it but they should certainly make it multiplatform
I doubt I'd buy it. I regretted paying full price for the first one, and there wasn't enough variation in the game at all. If they could scrounge up enough new content to make a 2nd, then they just should've put that in the first, instead of giving us what was essentially an empty shell of a game.
