BioWare's promising new space opera Mass Effect is shaping up to be one of the years must-have exclusives for the Xbox 360. Myarcadeplanet.com talks about some of the innovative features that will cause this title to stand out.
Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed
Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.
I feel the same way.
I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?
Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.
Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

Never gave this game as much as a second glance, but after reading this article, I understand why the guys at EB Games think I'm crazy for not wanting to pre-order it. I definately will now. I agree, too bad for PS3, but I hope that someday every 3rd party title will be released on all consoles so fanboys as much hatred for each other.
It's going to set the new standard for RPGs IMO. I've had my pre-order down since January. I can't wait for it to come out, so here's hoping that it doesn't get delayed any longer.
Honestly I hope it does get delayed to january or february only because its a new ip. Lost planet sold like crazy when it was released in january simply because there was no competition and normally games that sell really well get alot of additional financial assistance and believe me if microsoft sees mass effect as a successful franchise they will pour even more money into it which will lead to an even better sequel and even better third game.
Really I hope too human, bioshock, and mass effect get delayed till Q1 2008 for that reason alone.
but we are getting White Knight, which looks amazing. So, i feel bad for 360 owners they arent getting that.
